He took my right hand and kissed it
but all I could do is remain dumbfounded at his confession. I was confessed earlier in the human world but I have never met a person like him.

My heart raced like crazy. I know by this time my face is a tomato but when you know that your love is mutual, you feel the luckiest in the whole universe but in my case its opposite.

If he is that much in love with me then how am I supposed to turn that to hate?!.. Oh Lord...

He pulled my hand making me fall in his arms. His colongue hit my nose as he made me sit on his lap, tugging me with his arms from behind, by pulling me close though I rebelled under his grip.

"Please stay", he pleaded. It took me by surprise, he has never been like this.

Satan Pov:

I was feeling numerous emotions that I don't know what I should feel. I was happy to know that she loves me too but hurt that she wants to make me hate her. Anxiousness was taking a toll on me, I started to feel unworthy of her, scared that I might hurt her for me being an Avatar of Warth. I was trying hard to control my anger and stand beside her.

"Satan, let me go", she retorted. I was scared, scared that she will leave me once I let go. I pulled her more close until there is not even an millimetre gap between us, crossed my legs around her and sunk my head in her neck. Her smell soothing my anxious heart.

"Please...No..", I said in a muffled voice.

"Alright.. then let me tell you a story of a girl whom maybe I have known the best",she sighed as she relaxed against me.

"How is this girl relevent here?"

"You'll see", she said as she gave me a forced smile.

"The girl used to live with her parents on an isolated island because her parents didn't had a normal background. Her father was a mafia boss and her mother... was a splendid assassin..."

"Was a? I mean are they...", she shushed me.

"Though their love story could probably become a good romance book with a happy ending... but all don't have one. It became a book of tragedy. The way their book closed, their last chapter would be one I will be telling you, Satan. The origin of her story...

-flashback-

She walked down the beach with her father. She was 13 years old, tan skin like her father and beauty as her mother and a cunning mind like both of them. They were waiting for the cargo ship to arrive, that wasn't the first time she has been waiting with her father. U/n, her father's step-brother, was always kind to her.

"They're late. Aren't they dad?" , she asked.

"Yeah.. It is a clear sea, I wonder what's taking them so long...", he said as he took her hand and proceeded towards the shade for some rest.

As they were being unusually late, a feeling started to cripple inside her. A voice inside her head that was telling her that something is not right, even with reassuring herself it didn't go away completely.

"Well seems like they are arriving.", she looked towards the sea at her father's words. There was a small ship arriving towards their coast.

"Listen Y/n, go back to the house and tell your mother that they have arrived"

"Couldn't you just call her Dad?"

"Yes I can but the I couldn't reach her also I need to be here when they arrive.", her father patted her head.

"But Dad... I have this feeling that something will happen.. something bad.", she said with worry in her eyes. Her father's gaze softened as he pecked her forehead giving her a soft smile, "Nothing will go wrong till I am here"

After reporting back to her mother, she went to the backyard to cool herself down. Amidst the flowers, relief surged through her with that she lost the track of time.

Suddenly she heard commotion inside the house, from that she could faintly make out Uncle Jones voice. To her curiosity she head over to living room but her eyes saw something that she couldn't believe. Something she had feared but never thought would come true. She hid herself in the bushes, enough space among the braches for her to see.

He was holding Y/s hostage with a gun pointed towards her head. Y/s, her younger sister wearing a baby pink frock, trembling with fear. All of them were in the living room which was directly connected to the backyard. Mom and dad stood right opposite to them, on the north-west side of the coffee table, their back was facing towards her whereas they were on the south of the table which put her in danger. If one of them located her that would be an end game for her. There were about 10 armed as well as well built men right behind U/n.

"Brot-"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT F/N!!"

"U/n, I want you to leave the kids out of this business"

"Why should I do that?"

"Because they are kids!"

"Tch tch, that's not the reason... because they are YOUR kids and weak spot", he said wearing a smug smile. Her fear had came true in the worst possible way. She knew it too well that there had to be a reason other than personal space for living in a solitude island but never in her worst nightmares she had came across this possibility.

"Just give it. Surrender my dear brother", he said with fake concern, as he pressed the gun more towards her head. The five year old kid didn't know what to do other than trembling.

"You see brother if you just cut off your pride and give in... your whole family can be saved"

Her mom kneeled down with a thud pleading to let her daughter go, one of the most feared assassin is now pleading for her child's life. Her father too followed shortly after. Great Insult.

Feeling victorious, he started to laugh hysterically, content at the view infront of him. She could do nothing other than putting her hands on her ears trying block his grisly voice, trying to think what she can do with wounded pride, betrayal and anger but she knew better one single wrong move and that's the end.

"Your greed for the legacy has increased a lot more than the last time", she swiftly turned head at the voice, surprised at the sight. Her mother had a knife by U/n throat. Y/s was behind father. Presumably, her mother had slid a knife with her before kneeling down while waiting for the right time. Her eyes then fell on her Y/s and she understood what is her task. To take out her Y/s from there, that would help them. Walking bare handed would mean walking right into the lion's den. A plan clicked.

She scurried to a big olive tree at the end of the bush. They had a underground channel beneath the olive tree mainly used for dumping things that are no more in use. This place was off-limits for her not only because she could be trapped in here if the entrance door is not handled rightly but also a place where her parents used to stock loaded weapons. She didn't know where but that is only thing she think of. Freashly learnt on how to control one added to her benefits. Climbing down the stairs, she came across loads of cardboard boxes. its impossible to search the whole room so the best option was to let her instinct guide her.

Walking down the small path between the boxes she noticed an unusal gap. Two cardboard boxes infront of her but when she tried to move it, they were quite heavy. Left with no other choice she gripped at the corner, summoning all her power she pulled it down to the ground and it fell with a loud thud. She pushed it away and struggled with the beneath box a little. When they were out the locker's way she tried to focus on the thing infront.

Luckily it was a locker but obviously locked. Password. She started with her birthday then her Y/s birthday, didn't match. Mom's birthday, Dad's birthday, no luck. She even tried to join two dates but it didn't work. She slammed her fist on the keypad in frustration and some random pin got inserted. Luck blessed down by the God of Luck, it was correct.

There were many things but what caught her eye was the gun. She grabbed it and ran back up. It had had started to rain too.

Admist that what she saw was undeniably one of the most cruel thing a thirteen year could see.
