You and Cole have been married for a year now, knowing each other for 8 years and started dating 3 years in knowing each other.

You guys have been talking about trying for a baby 3 months within being married. A lot of people thought you guys were crazy, but you both really wanted a baby.

So you guys started tryi my, paying more attention to when you ovulate, even getting an app for it. You guys have been on top of it, knowing it was probably the most you guys have ever had sex.

You haven’t been feeling good the past few weeks and you were late on your period. You thought of your symptoms realizing they were all similar to pregnancy symptoms.

So you made it your mission to take a pregnancy test, and that’s where you are now.

You were in yours and Cole’s shared bathroom, waiting for your timer on your phone to go off to look at the pregnancy test.

Cole was out with Dylan meaning you were home alone. You wanted to do something cute to tell him, so you grabbed a little teddy bear as well when buying the test.

You thought maybe it was a waste of money as you didn’t even know if you were pregnant, but you felt very hopeful about it.

You’ve been having these symptoms for 3 weeks now, the first week thinking it was just the stomach flu or something.

But realizing you could possibly be pregnant got you excited.

You jumped softly when the timer went off stopping it as you grabbed the test making sure you still couldn’t see the results, taking a deep breath.

You flipped it around gasping softly and placing a hand over your mouth, your eyes watering as you looked at the test.

Positive.

You couldn’t believe it. You couldn’t believe there was a little pea of a human in you right now. You were growing life.

You wiped your tears smiling happily as you stood up walking out of the bathroom as you couldn’t stop staring at the test.

You texted Cole to see when he would be home, and if you had time to do your other idea to telling him.

When he texted back saying not until like another half an hour, you knew you had enough time.

You made a little scavenger hunt for him.

You wrote out the hints and planned the places to put them, before going over placing the 10 little cards around the house and planting the little card you had gotten him, the teddy bear and the test on top of your guys’ bed.

You sat in the living room impatiently for him to return home, your thumbs never stopping one as they fiddled against one another.

And when you finally heard the door open, you sat up right away grabbing his first little card off of the table next to you, keeping it behind your back as you walked over to greet him.

“Hi angel.” He says, a smile plastered to his face as he wrapped his arms around your waist leaning down to kiss you.

“Hi baby.” You smiled, kissing him back.

“How are you feeling?” He asked still concerned about you puking this morning 10 minutes before he had to leave.

“A lot better.” You nodded smiling.

“That’s good. Why are you acting all weird?” He asked letting out a small chuckle as you giggle along with him.

“Wellll, I have a little surprise for you, however, you’re going to have to find it first.” You smiled handing him his first card.

He raised an eyebrow at you as he read the card. “Did you really make a scavenger hunt?” He asked looking up at you.

You bit your lip softly a small smile appearing on your lips, “maybeeee.”

He chuckles as he read the card again thinking before heading to the spot in the house he thought it was at.

You followed him around as you watched him, the closer he got to the test the more nervous you got.

And when he finally picked up the last one heading to you guys’ bedroom, the butterflies in your stomach didn’t leave, they only came faster and your palms started to get a little sweaty as you wiped them into your pants.

You followed him into the room as he looked at the bed his eyebrows raising softly as he looked over at you. “Is that...?” He started to say as you shrugged softly wanting him to look at it himself.

As he walked over seeing what was set on the bed, his eyes instantly watering as he turned around to look at you. “Really?! We’re...we’re having a baby?” He asked walking over to you.

You couldn’t hold back your own tears as you nodded, his arms instantly wrapping around your waist and picking you up as you cling onto him, crying happily into his neck.

“We’re gonna be parents!” He chanted smiling squeezing you.

You giggled softly as you nodded pulling away enough to where you could see his face.

“We’re gonna be parents.” You say softly smiling as you leaned in pecking his lips softly, the two of you absorbing the happiness you guys felt the rest of the day.

The thought of you guys’ having a baby never leaving your minds.
