Y/N's POV
"So I come out of the bathroom to a rose on my floor and Will smirking at me in my bedroom door." I say to my phone as I flip the camera to the rose then to Will. I then flip the camera back to my face and hold it up, "A true romantic, leaving a flower on my floor, real smooth." I laugh and so does he. "Alright well that's it for today I'll see you guys later." I then end my video and plop down on my bed. "So I see you're still making those videos." Will says, taking a step into my room. "I need to, for-" "Yeah, for your parents, I know." He says, cutting me off. "Do you really think that's healthy though?" He asked and my eyebrows knit together.

"Babe, making videos for your family for them to watch when you die? Doesn't seem like the most rational coping mechanism." He says. "I need to prepare myself, and them. We're breathing borrowed air." I say, mocking his quote. "It's just life, Y/N, it'll be over before we know it." He says, taking another step closer to me. Six feet away. I would want nothing more than to hold his hand right now, with him giving me that sad look he gives so often. But I have an idea. I stand up to grab my latex gloves slipping one onto one of my hands, but not the other. I them grab a face mask and loop it around my ears. Then I stand in front of him. Five feet away.

"Y/N?" He says, I take two more steps, practically three feet away. I hold out my gloved hand, open for him to hold. He looked at me before taking my hand, lacing our fingers together. "You do realize I'll never be able to let go right?" He says, and I laugh. "Oh you'll be fine." He shakes his head, "Nope, from now on you'll have me craving more." I laugh. "It's your fault." He says. "You say that like it's a bad thing." I laugh. "This could kill us." He says. "Well we better make the most of it then."

I reply, dragging him out of the door and out into the hallway, leading him to the atrium. When we get there, I sit down on one of the couches and Will follows in my actions. He sighs as we both stay silent for a moment. "I wish i could kiss you." He says, turning his head to gaze at me. I take my free hand to pull off my mask. I take in the deepest breath my shitty lungs can handle and blow it hard out my nose, scooting all the way over to him, no space between us. I keep our hands intertwined. "Y/N! What the hell are you-" "It's okay." I say, laying my head on his shoulder. He stays speechless. But then relaxes, "Well now you've sealed the deal with the grim reaper." He mumbles. "It's okay, I'm okay with that. A trade. Me for you." I say smiling. "And me for you." Will says back.

~~Fast forward 2 Days~~

Will's POV
I watched her numerous videos on my laptop, thankful that Y/N had made a flash drive of every last one for me, even if I was supposed to die before her. I had tears silently streaming down my face as I watched every video one after the other. But they don't go on forever. They cut short, with the rose on the floor and me in her doorway. I killed her. And soon, her bacteria will kill me. Better sooner rather than later. I don't know how much more of this pain I can take. Not physical pain though. "Will?" I hear from outside my door.

Barb. She slowly opens the door to see me watching Y/N's videos. Her face saddened. "Will-" I cut her off, "No, don't. Don't tell me it's not my fault, because it is." She sighs, knowing better than to argue with me on this. So she walks out. And as Y/N's last video ends, I slam my laptop closed, getting up out of my bed and immediately pushing all my meds off my med cart, watching all the pills bounce around on the floor. I then rip all my drawing off my walls. Throwing everything in sight onto the floor. 'I could've saved her' I thought. 'I could've fucking saved her' I threw more shit onto the floor. 'This is all my fault' I thought. 'I killed her'
