"Damn it, " George said standing up. He turned around to see the mirror frame laying on the ground along with the shattered glass of the mirror sprawled across the floor around it. "And it hadn't even-" he sighed walking to his kitchen to grab a broom and dustpan. "Guess that means I need to go shopping again," he said sweeping up the shattered glass, being careful not to hurt himself.

George walked upstairs to his room eager to change out of his ripped up clothes. He stripped his clothes off, checking for any cuts or bruises he might've gotten while in the mirror. Once he had made sure there was nothing that needed care he walked over to his closet grabbing a sweater, a pair of pants, and some sneakers. He grabbed his wallet, his phone, and most importantly his keys and made his way to the front door.

George parked his car and walked down the street
trying to find the nearest store that he thought might sell a mirror, the last store he had bought one in was an antique store which was always closed on the weekends. A few minutes had passed and he found himself standing in front of a small store that sold all sorts of things. After high school George had avoided going in big stores to avoid seeing those who would drag him into a conversation if seen out in public.

Walking in he took in the smell of freshly lit candles, it smelt like apple pie, letting out a deep sigh he was instantly relaxed. The place was lovely, from the front of the store to the very back every shelf was lined with anything anyone could ever want, from earrings to hourglasses, each item was beautiful, he could tell almost everything was hand made. After walking through the store for a while he finally found a nice full length mirror, the edge was lined with beautifully carved wood, every detail was mesmerizing. "This will do nicely," he said reaching for the price tag ,"A bit pricy but seems worth it," he shrugged to himself.

It was much heavier than expected but he finally managed to drag it to the front. As he looked at the person working the cash register for the first time since being in the store he realized it was an old friend from school ,"Niki?! I didn't expect to find you here, I cant believe you still hang around in this shop!" "Well hallo George nice to see you as well," she said rolling her eyes jokingly ," I cant believe you still have that obsession with mirrors!" She laughed. "How have you been? Where you workin nowadays?" She asked checking the price of the mirror. "Oh well you know the bakery on Main Street?"
"Of course!"
"Well it's the store next to that."

After paying, a long sad realization that he parked pretty far down the street, and a struggle to fit the mirror in his car, he was finally home and ready to cause some mischief.... well after a long nap that is...
