The Jeons' faces grew shocked. They kept looking at one another.
Capricorn furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, her gaze moved to Virgo. His eyes were already on her, he flashed her a smile when their eyes met.
'What is Virgo thinking?' She thought.
"Congrats on that one." Libra Somi whispered to her.
Capricorn could tell a lot of people here were disappointed.
"How is that possible?! She's not even our blood!" One of Virgo's cousins spat.
"Silence." An elder said. "Her name is on our family's registration."
"You wench!" Another one of Virgo's cousins fumed. "You tricked Virgo to get that position, didn't you?!" He stood up.
Capricorn herself was shocked but she acted calm and collected, she knew what to do in a situation like this. "Let's say that maybe I did trick him. But he gave me the title." She looked straight into the eyes of the guy who insulted her. "So right now, right here, I have more power. And what can you do?" She smirked. "Nothing."
The guy snarled. "You'll pay-"
"I said SILENCE!" The elder glared at the guy. "The decision has been made."
The guy sat back down.
Capricorn could tell this elder had a big position inside the family. Everyone would listen to him.
The elder got up from the chair. "And you young lady, follow me."
Capricorn looked toward Virgo. He give her a nod with a little smile.
She got up and followed the old man. Eventually, they were in the backseats of a car. She waited for him to speak.
"From what I know, your last name is Lee." The old man spoke.
"That's true." She nodded.
'Sadly enough.'
"Oh well, you just look a lot like someone."
"Who?"
"My late son's friend."
She was a little confused. The only person who can look like her would be her father. But she wasn't sure.
"My son who was Virgo's father." He told.
'This old man is Virgo's grandfather. Now it's clear.'
"Your son's friend, was he a good person?" She asked him.
"Oh, he sure was. Even though his job was risky, he continued to help my son."
'A risky job? Is he perhaps really talking about my dad? Because he worked in KIA. And were Virgo's dad and my dad friends?'
"Anyway," He continued. "let's leave irreverent talks. You've gotten a big job now, are you sure you can deal with it?"
