"Virgo Namjoon." Capricorn said, gritting her teeth.
Pisces Seulgi and Scorpio Baekhyun walked behind Virgo Namjoon with guns.
There was no way Capricorn would be able to fight them all at a time.
Aries Jackson was working for Virgo Namjoon. This only meant one thing.
Aries Jackson was still an agent.
This whole thing was a mission.
"Capricorn, before you lash out at me, I had reasons." Virgo Namjoon said.
"What the fuck Virgo Namjoon?" Scorpio Baekhyun spoke out.
"Scorpio Baekhyun, I'll get back to you in a minute."
Pisces Seulgi shushed Scorpio Baekhyun. He was just as shocked as Capricorn to find out that Virgo Namjoon and Aries Jackson were working together.
"You lied about everything." Capricorn said to Virgo Namjoon, anger stirred within her.
"Not everything. I'll explain." Virgo Namjoon said. "You helped me get rid of the corrupt KIA, thank you. Do you remember when I said that I won't tolerate crime in this city? That included Black Bullet gang. Our pasts together don't matter because at the end of the day, you're a part of a crime group, and it's my duty to get rid of crime. That's why I put together this whole plan. Told Aries Jackson to act like he wants to take over the mafia. I sent you to Daegu purposely on the day Virgo Jungkook Jeon was also there, so we'd find a chance to get your son."
"You son of a bitch."
"I didn't completely lie on your parents' part. Your father's body was never found, it's true. And your mom was sent to that mission thirty years ago to destroy the factory and kill Taurus Daeshim, she accomplished the mission. Killing Taurus Daeshim was very carefully done, no one ever found him. It was all a setup."
"To trap me."
"To trap you." He nodded. "I put up this whole drama to make up a stupid mission and sent you away for a day. What you burned in that factory was not drugs, just bags filled with garbage."
This was why Virgo Namjoon was so desperate for Capricorn to perform the mission.
"What are you gonna do now?"
Virgo Namjoon stayed quiet.
"No one other than me, Miss Pisces Seulgi, and Virgo Namjoon knew about this setup. Not even Scorpio Baekhyun." Aries Jackson said.
"For fuck's sake, you could've told me!" Scorpio Baekhyun growled at him.
"That was also a loyalty test for Scorpio Baekhyun. We wanted to see whether he would betray KIA or join hands with me." Aries Jackson turned at Scorpio Baekhyun. "You passed the test. And as Virgo Namjoon promised, Capricorn is all yours."
Capricorn figured they wanted Scorpio Baekhyun back in the team because he was quite useful.
A smirk formed on Scorpio Baekhyun's face. "Finally, I get satisfaction."
Virgo Namjoon turned the other way. He didn't want to witness Capricorn's death despite being the one who set it up.
A part of Capricorn understood him. He was doing his duty and he was awfully good at it. First, he used her to get rid of the authorities, but eventually, he was going to get rid of her, Virgo, and everything they build.
Another part of Capricorn wanted to clutch his heart out of his chest.
"Capricorn." Scorpio Baekhyun walked towards her with a look of victory written all over his face. "Aries Mr. Kim always praised you, saying you were the wisest...I could admit I was a little jealous, but guess what.." He pointed the gun at her, ready to avenge Aries Mr. Kim. "You are in fact a little stupid." He mocked. "Goodbye."
