"Morning, beautiful," he whispered.
Laska smiled at him, "Morning. What are we getting into today?" His smile fell, and that's when she remembered that he was leaving today. "I forgot. What time do you fly out today?" He looked at the clock, said something, and held up three fingers. "You leave in three hours?" He nodded. "Well, then, we better make good use of that time."
When they crashed back onto the bed, he looked at his fiance and said, "When you come to Korea?"
She thought about it: "It'll take me a bit to pack up my stuff and get my affairs in order. We have a few weeks to wait to see if our landlord lets us out of the lease. But it will take longer. Is that okay?"
He pouted, but he nodded his head, "I miss you."
"Oh, Jimin, I'll miss you too. So so much."
"Can I tell the Army about you?"
Laska made a confused face, "tell them what?"
"I found soulmate?"
"Sure, but can we keep my identity a secret? I've heard about your fans, and they get hella possessive."
He shook his heokay, no, "Not real Army, but okay." He pulled out his phone and showed her a picture. "Can I post it?"
She looked at his phone, and it was a picture of their hands. You could see the engagement ring on her finger, and it was clear that they were in bed. Part of his chest could be seen, and the only thing covering him from flashing everyone was the sheet. "When did you take this?"
"Before you woke," he looked a little embarrassed.
"It's super cute, hella intimate, but I like it. Post away." She decided to follow him on Twitter and Instagram. He posted it, and within minutes, there were thousands of comments. She clicked the translate button, "Dearest Army, I hope you will be happy for us. I found my soulmate, and she said yes."
There were lots of upset people, and they said some nasty things. But some people congratulated them and wished them all the best. They packed his things, and she rode with them to the airport; she didn't want him to leave, but she knew he had to. She kissed him goodbye, and he wiped her tears away. "Text me when you land, okay? Even if it's all in Korean, I'll google it if I have to."
"Love you," he whispered.
"Love you too."
The ride back to the hotel was depressing, but Dez was such a great friend, so she distracted her. "Here, I have lots of alcohol; let's drink until you forget for a bit."
"He asked me to marry him; I said yes. I love him, Dez."
She wrapped her arms around her, "I know you do, and you'll get to see him soon. Let's drink, and I'll change our flight to tomorrow. We have some affairs to get in order so you can move to Korea. But know this: I'm coming with you."
Laska pulled back from the hug and looked at her. "Will you really move to another country for me?"
"I'm slightly offended that you have to ask. I have zero family besides you. Why wouldn't I move? Plus, Tae is sinfully hot."
They sat down on the bed and drank the night away. When it was time to go home, she was eager to leave. Jimin texted her as soon as he landed; she had fun sending him naughty texts back since she was fueled by alcohol. When the girls landed back in Florida, Laska first swung by her parents.
"Mom, Dad, I'm back from my trip,"
"Honey, we're back here; your father is trying to put his new grill together."
