Holten's Pov

I couldn't sleep even with Ryder's sexy naked body beside me. I couldnt shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen. I couldn't get Conner or Mason out of my mind I hate their fucking guts. If they ever hurt Ryder i'll kill them. I couldn't take being still i was turning violently and my skin was clammy and sweaty. I finally sat up in bed and looked over at Ryder. He was so beautiful and he looked just like a little kid when he was asleep. His chest was heaving softly as he took in his breaths.

I got up and walked downstairs. I sat on the couch. I really hope our plan works. I didnt know what else I could do. Maybe I should leave town? I sighed knowing I couldnt do that. I couldnt leave Ryder even if it was what was best for him. I felt my breathing picked up and knew a panic attack was coming on. Havent had one of these in awhile. I hated feeling this weak. I hated not being in control of my emotions. 

Ryders Pov

I walked downstairs and sighed. I had woken up and saw Holten was gone. I could hear his breathing was hard and it sounded like he was having a panic attack. I went to him and sat on his lap. He pulled me close to him and he calmed down.

"Ryder, I'm scared"

"I am too baby. We'll be okay. I know we will. We can beat their game."

"Youre right. I think we need to tell our friends"

"No, I dont want them involved in it" I wasnt going to drag them in it. They had enough things to deal with. They didnt need these crazy people.I tilted his chin and forced him to look in my eyes.

"Holten, Everything will be okay. Trust me?"

"I do trust you" I pressed my lips lightly to his. 

"Good. Wanna go back to bed now?" He nodded and I stood up and took his hand. I hated what this was doing to him. It was tearing him apart. That Mason ass hurt him, destroyed him. He healed himself just to have Mason come back and ruin everything. I pushed him down on the bed and crawled on top of him. I laid my head on his chest and sighed in content.

"Take it youre sleeping there?"

"Yup" He chuckled and kissed my forehead. 

"Im glad I have you Ryder. I dont know what I would do if I didnt" My heart fluttered at that.

"Im glad I have you Holten. You mean so much to me" 

Holtens Pov

I woke up the next morning and Ryder wasnt in the room. I headed downstairs. Hannah was the only happy one.

I knew how they were feeling. My head was pounding. Ryder was lying on the floor.

"Ryder. Why?"

"My head hurts" He whined.

"So does mine. Wuss"

"Fuck you Holten" 

"Get off the floor and go take a shower. We have to be at school" He did, glaring at me the whole time. 

Everyone else was all ready.

"Oli left. I'll take Hannah to school" Daya said. I nodded and ate piece of toast that was on the counter. Kellan and Beck were on the couch.

"Were gonna be late. You guys go ahead and I'll get Ryder's ass out of the shower" I told Kells and Beck. Daya had left awhile ago. Ryder still hadnt come down. They left and I stormed upstairs. When  I saw he wasnt in the bathroom. I flew open his door. He was lying on his bed, naked. He looked up at me and smirked.

"Took you long enough"

"Ryder, You cant even be serious. We are gonna be late for school"

"We arnt going to school today. We still have a deal. You fuck me-"
