She tried to get me to come back but I was well on my way to the meadows. When I got there I saw a man with, a dragon? I could've sworn I was seeing things. Then it turned its head towards the woods I was now hiding in. I heard the man say "No one's back there! The people in this town are too lazy to be out on a day like this beautiful or not!" The dragon nosed him towards the forest. As he came closer I got a better view of what he looked like. He had wavy black hair and slightly muscular arms but over all nothing to be afraid of. The dragon, on the other hand was about three times the mans height who looked 5'9 it was orange and red with a hint of black on it. Its eyes glowed yellow but even it looked quite cute. The man sighed and mumbled "fine!" Before calling out into the woods "is anyone here?" I was super quiet I didn't want him or his companion to find me. That's when about thirteen older men with weapons came running out of the forest each one running faster than the other right past me. I couldn't just let that man take on all of these men. But I don't even know the first thing about fighting! Why did I have the sudden urge to help him any way, I don't even know him! I went after him any way. He must of thought I was one of the men because he swung his swords at me I told him to give one of the swords that's when he realized I wasn't one of the men and quickly gave me a sword. I swung furiously at the men managing to block all of there attacks and countering them. When I saw all thirteen bodies on the floor I almost threw up. I couldn't believe I had just killed all these people! The man killed some too but ether way I had a part in this. I also saw marks on the people's bodies from... I guess the dragons tale whacking them. "Your quite the swordsman" he chuckled as he jesters for me to hand him his sword but what I did was quite the opposite, instead of giving it to him I said "Hang on, I just killed quite the number of people you've got some explaining to do."
He smiled and said "So do you."
"Like what?"
"Like why you were in the woods with the hunters and how your so good with a sword with out trying? Lets talk about it later right now Burt wants to talk to you." he mounted his dragon and held out his hand. Did he want me to getup on that thing? No way if there was any chance of that happening I needed to know "Who's Burt?" He looked at me like I just gave him a pound of candy " Why this big o'l fella!" I took his hand and we flew up and above the clouds. I wrapped my arms around his chest so I wouldn't fall "What's your name?" He asked me "Ashlyn, Ashlyn Monroe." He looked like he had just seen a ghost and some how so did Burt. " Burt can your talking time wait?" He nodded and we changed direction. Soon, we came to a place filled with many other dragons all of them looking at the man "Why are they all looking at you?" I asked "There not" he said "They're looking at you" That's when we swooped into a, what seemed to be, a lava cavern. At the bottom there was a nest sitting on a huge stone quarry. Siting on the nest was a bird like dragon that appeared to be on fire. It looked at me and brought its head down to my eyes so we made eye contact the next thing that happened I did not expect. "Ashlyn?" It spoke. The dragon spoke. "You probably don't remember," I looked at her confused. " long ago there was a girl, you, who lead all dragons. She was brave, smart, and a little stubborn. I was her dragon. One day a man and his wife came and stole her after brain washing her. I vowed that from that day forward I would protect the dragons until she returned. Now that you're back I can step down and you can rise up to the throne." This was huge and I was not expecting her to say that "How'd I get here anyway. I mean before being captured." I could tell this was a touchy subject but that didn't mean I didn't need to know. "You were hatched like the rest of us. The only reason why you look like you do is because your a hybrid. I won't say how, just know that you are."

🔱So today I took my mom to the hospital where she almost died. Don't worry she's fine now but man was it scary! I'll never u underestimate my mom ever again.
