Chapter nineteen :
Today was a good day

Y/n's pov :
It was a new day and I was still asleep. I could hear loud banging on my door, so I went to go open it. Once i opened it I saw Kenny in front of me.
"Y/n hurry up and get dressed, we have biology first period and you know how Mr Johnson can be!" Kenny recalled
"Oh shit, i'll be out in ten minutes" I replied
I closed the door and to my wardrobe. I then threw on some denim shorts, white shirt and an oversized plaid shit. I then just let my hair out and tied Dean's bandanna on my head. After that i ran to go put on some old converses. I finally finished getting so I grabbed my bag and walked outside where I would meet Kenny. We then walked over to the science class and sat on our seats.
"Okay students, i will be pairing youse up with someone and youse will be making a report about a frog" Mr Johnson ordered
He then started pairing us with each other's partners. It was all good until he paired me with the worst person ever.
"And Y/n Conway, you're partners with Rick Riley" Mr Johnson shared
Holy shit no.
I then turned around and saw Rick behind me. He then gave me a dirty grin, it was hideous. I then turned back to Mr Johnson.
"Sir, this has to be a mistake" I whined
"Nope, it says right here, Rick Riley and Y/n Conway" he replied
I didn't know if I should kill him or Rick. There might be double homicide happening today. I thought to myself. I got up and walked over to Rick, i really can't be detention again. Once i sat next to his seat I just sat there and started reading the unit we were learning.
"So y/n, how've you been cutie" he said while playing with my hair
I then removed his hand away from my face and stayed quiet.
"What's wrong? You don't wanna talk?" He teased "look y/n, i'm sorry for what I did, please forgive me. I've changed"
I still kept focus on my work, I couldn't believe a word he was saying.
"Please y/n, give me a chance" he begged
I then thought about what he said so i turned to him.
"Okay Riley, I forgive you." I began
A wide grin then grew on his face.
"BUT... we're only friends, that's all. And if you wanna be friends, tell your little minions to leave my friends alone. Deal?" I commanded
"Yes ma'am" he laughed
Rick then leaned in and hugged me. Okay this is weird. He then moved away and we went back to doing our work. After an hour of working the bell then rung. While I was starting to pack my books Rick came and helped.
