Stuck in Another World

I was alone in an empty dark void. I looked like my 7 year old self (the pic above). 'It's the same dream as before.' Lately, I've been having this dream. I would be in the body of my 7 year old self, and would be in a black void.

 I began to move my fingers a bit and move around. 'Last time I couldn't move much. All I could do is breath and blink.'

"Hi, Kaede." 

My eyes widened as I quickly turned around. Now, in front of me was a blonde girl. She looked like a 12 to 14 years old. Like me, she was barefooted.

She came closer to me as I slowly back away. I got into my fighting stance and was ready to attack any moment. The girl raised her right hand with a smile.

"No need to fight me, Kaede. I'm your ally."

"And, how do I know that? You can easily lie to me. I may look like a 7 year-old by I assure you I'm not, either physically or mentally."

"You don't need to trust me, but please listen to what I'm about to say." I lowered my guard a bit and nodded.

"Right now, you've been teleported into another dimension.  This world isn't the same as the one you knew. Some of the people here can easily trigger your....magic." I let out a slight "tch" hearing that.

"Another dimension? You mean like Edolas?" I asked.

"It's far more advance in technology. This world doesn't have magic but 80% of the human population has special abilities. We would most likely call them superpowers in our world. But the powers isn't too strong for you to handle. So you should be fine as long as you don't slack off." 

'When did I ever get the time to do that?'

"The people here might not be as strong as most of the powerful villains you faced before, but Kaede please be careful. And protect those dear to you, you don't wanna lose anybody you care for again."

"Somebody dear to me? Minerva? Yeah she's my partner for now but she's not someone dear to me."

"Well, others then her. You'll find some people you will cherish sooner or later in this new world. Now we don't have much time anymore." 

I nodded quickly as the girl began to fade away. "Oh, and Kaede." I looked up to her and rose an eyebrow. She puts on a grin and gave me a thumbs up. "They're still alive. The ones you cherish." I didn't got to ask anything before completely fade away.

"What does she mean by that? Well, I gotta find a way to get ot of here first." I told myself.

I tried to move but surprisingly couldn't. My hands are perfectly fine but I can't walk anywhere. It's like my feet are glued to the ground. 'Great, now I'm stuck here all alone with nothing to do.' 

I let out a sigh and started to think how to wake myself up. 'Maybe I could try to crawl? Wait, I can't do that, my feet are stuck, not numb.' 

'Wait, my hands are still working. And usually, if you want to wake yourself up, you gotta hurt yourself in your dream.'

'I don't have a knife though.'

'Oh yeah, I could slap myself. It would probably feel weird after doing this.'

I put my  right hand beside my cheek and slap it hard. You could basically see a hand mark. I rub my cheek attempting to relief the pain. "Tch, it stings.....Well, I dealt with worse." I mumbled to myself.

Suddenly, the ground started shacking like an earthquake. 'Hey, I could move my feet again!'

Before I could run, the ground suddenly split in two right where I was standing. I was left falling into the ground losing sight of my surrounding.
