So today was the first day in the world and I was the first person on the new server, which was understandable as I hadn't sent the invite out yet. I had to sort the spawn out first and find myself a nice place to settle for my first base. Nowhere I'd seen around my original spawn seemed like a nice area, so I went exploring and gathered some basic supplies: bread, wood, all that. The usual.
After travelling for a few hours, I found a nice flower field spawn by a lake which I though was absolutely perfect. It would definitely hold a lot of us before we had to expand, so I got to building. My starter base is... certainly not perfect, but it'll do for now. A little garden out the front looks nice, I think.

In other news, I sent out the invite and four friends have joined. Unfortunately because I allowed them access to anything, I now have salmon in my lake that I have attempted to kill but they just keep. Coming. Back. It's very much an annoyance.
Around the newly-dubbed "salmon lake", we now have new buildings as well. Two pubs, my house, a well (also mine) and a hidden base at the bottom of said lake (of which I'm calling Devilcatpru's secret chemistry lab). The lake village is growing, and I think we'll really need to clear some more room soon. However that's already in progress- I've been building a huge library with Devilcat's help. Astro's like inhumanly fast at clearing things to make flat land, I have no idea how he does it! It's been just us on at the moment, but he's been working on the expansion as well by creating an aquarium- oh hey, Oscar just joined!
He broke the glass and let the fish out of the aquarium.
Well, I can always add them back in, it's not like they die forever. Like the salmon in my lake.
I hate those salmon, they ruin the aesthetic...
Either way, I've been working on growing the village again. Helped Astro finish the aquarium roof and built a little campsite for people who haven't built a house yet to stay in. Pretty cool, right? The whole thing is coming together really nicely! I've got to go soon, though, the night's coming and Sovereign said she'd be on tomorrow.
