"I'm the 1st Squad Vice-captain! I'm here so I can protect you!" Chifuyu exclaimed as he stood up, facing Baji. "If you still insist on doing it, then I won't hold back either!" Chifuyu declared before Baji glared at him with menacing eyes. "Do it," Baji challenged, "I will give you ten seconds," Baji stated before he started counting from ten to one. He stopped for a moment as he reaches number seven, "Come on. Thought you weren't holding back?" then he continues the countdown.
Chifuyu just stood still as he panted for air while facing Baji, not doing anything. By the time when the countdown was done, Baji walked up, leaving Chifuyu behind. But luckily, Takemichi was there as rushes over to Baji and pushes him to the side as he embraces him by the stomach. "Chifuyu, we must protect Baji-kun! Let's stop Baji-kun together!" Takemichi yells at Chifuyu. But Chifuyu just stood still as Takemichi struggles on holding back Baji.
"I can't...Takemichi." "Eh?" "I...I can't punch Baji-san." Chifuyu stammered as he admits that he doesn't have the courage to punch Baji. "Huh? What are you talking about, Chifuyu?!" Takemichi yells. "Stay focused Tada...it's almost time." You glance over to Tada as he crouched behind the line-up fireworks you both prepared for the show. Takemichi was hit on the neck by Baji's elbow, he was starting to lose consciousness, but he didn't give up.
If he gives up now, Baji will get killed by Kisaki, and the horrible future he knows won't change. His grip around Baji's waist tightened, refusing to let him go. But Takemichi, then soon realized something as he remembers Draken's statement, when he traveled back in the future a few days ago. 'Wasn't Baji-kun killed by Kazutora, not by Kisaki?' Takemichi questions himself inside his head. He looks over to where Kazutora got knocked out which is beside Mikey, but he wasn't there. By the time Takemichi looks back at Baji, he was already stabbed in the back by Kazutora.

'Baji-san!' Tadashi was in a panic as he sees Baji already getting stabbed. He was anxious because you still haven't given him the signal to fire the fireworks, yet. "Shi-chan..!" "Not yet, Tada..!" "But Baji-san is-" "I said not yet." You glared at him, causing him to Shut up as he sweats immensely. Tadashi looked back at Baji, who seemed just fine and was still standing on both of his feet.
