It had been some time since you first met the Prince Loki. He had originally been thought of as obnoxious and arrogant in your mind before you became his servant. But over time he had opened up to you, and you to him. And as you did he didn't see you as his servant for much longer, but as his love.

He had shown you all around Asgard within a few weeks of you serving him. You both managed to escape through the old tunnels through the castle only Loki knew about. Odin wouldn't approve of the relationship of a Prince and a servant so you both had to keep it secret. Unsurprisingly Loki was used to hiding things from him and was quite good at it, not that Odin took too much notice in what Loki did anyway.

He took you to the meadows and around the mountains and messed with the guards in his castle with you. It was only small things like turning their swords Into snakes, but you liked his magic and often asked him to teach you some. He showed you how to magic fireworks over a lake in your hands, and you had soon mastered the trick through his teaching.

You remember him sitting behind you and bringing his arms around you, his hands tracing over yours as he held them out. You remember how it made your heart flutter as he showed you how to magic the fireworks. His mother had taught it him and you could see his eyes light up when he spoke of her.

Frigga was different to Odin, almost the complete opposite, and Loki had told her of the two of you and she had even helped keep Odin away when they were together at Vanaheim for longer than intended so you and Loki had more time together.

Although you were thankful for this, you dreamed of a time where you and prince Loki didn't have to keep it a secret and you could go anywhere together without sneaking out or hiding. The last time Loki took you out to see some castle ruins, a knight of Asgard nearly caught you both together but luckily, Loki had his magic at hand.

However, as of now, you had to keep it a secret, and Odin and frigga were away together to vanahiem again. Which left you and Loki to sit under the bifrost and with the lake by your feet. Thor had said he'd make sure no one disturbed us while we were out, then looked over to Loki and gave him a thumbs up. It was lucky he was doing you a favour.

The bifrost provided the two of you shelter as you lay across Loki's lap. Though he hated when you called it the bifrost, constantly reminding you the bifrost was the magic flowing within it, and the bridge itself is the rainbow bridge. You often called it the bifrost to mess with him, eventhough afterwards it would always follow with a stern, seductive warning.

Listening to him read to you by the rainbow bridge and hearing the lake flowing beside you almost made you drift off to sleep. You had fallen asleep once while you were laid together in his chambers, and you woke up about an hour later to him stroking your hair and putting out a candle.

You let your mind wander as Loki stroked your arm slightly while reading to you in his deep, calming voice that you swear you could listen to forever without getting bored. It seemed almost impossible now to imagine thinking of Loki as cold and arrogant, when he was far from that now, still slightly possessive but that didn't concern you.

Your head was still resting on his thigh with your eyes closed, and a smile planted on your face. When you looked up, you could only see half his face as the other was covered by the book he was holding up. He would eventually look down and see you looking up at him and give you a sweet smile before placing a kiss on your forehead and holding you slightly tighter. Almost to make sure I'm still here, and not going anywhere.

You didn't want to think about anywhere but here, in the moment, with Loki and under a bridge with no one disturbing you both. Where you could ideally do whatever you both wanted and wouldn't be disturbed. You admit you had let your mind wander as to all the things you could do under there, and slightly hoped Loki would read your mind.

Over lokis soothing voice, you heard footsteps over the bridge, you opened your eyes to look up, it was slightly funny to think about how people could be this close to you and Loki and figuring out your secret and yet, they wouldn't. Because they never have.
