As they strapped me in my seat, I started looking around, I can see teenagers knocked out here and there strapped only by seat belts while my hands were tied too (but i could break out of them easily)
(Imagine these are metal restrains)(Hands tied in the front)
As the dropship started jerking around the "delinquent teenagers"started waking up and looking around, when every body calmed a message started playing on the TV monitor that can be viewed to everybody."Prisoners of the Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because of your crimes have made you expandable."
Chancellor Jaha's voice sounded through the TV monitor making me want to rip my ears off to stop listening to his "Holier than Thou" voice. Too bad they had strapped my hands down tight to the chair's armrest. I consider Chancellor Jaha and his council members, a bunch of selfish rulers who sit on their thrones and order us, make me do their dirty work while threatening me with no mercy. I mean, they're sending a bunch of teenagers to Earth, some of them haven't even reached puberty yet and have been imprisoned for the pettiest of things that shouldn't even be considered as crimes.
'Expendables' , he'd call us. I know that I am not but some of these teenagers have been imprisoned for stealing food. What a dick! They don't even know if Earth is survivable (even though I now everything) yet these heartless assholes send in a bunch of children. How humane!
"......Those crimes will be forgiven, your records wiped clean,"
I couldn't help but scoff at his obvious lies. I know for a fact he's only saying that because he thinks that it will bring theses teenagers some comfort in their last few moments before their impeded death(just how wrong they are). Truthfully, I am not afraid of death because I'm immortal, and I have accepted that everyone I care for will age and die while I stay young a long time ago but that was the downside of immortality. In fact I was waiting for the day the council sees my immortality as a threat and sends me down to Earth alone "as a punishment" , I have waited for that day to come even before I was thrown inside the Sky Box, and I believe that making me wait till I was thrown inside the Sky Box was just a waste of precious Oxygen that they don't even have.
"The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, Mount Weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non-perishables to sustain 300 people for up to 2 years."
Suddenly the dropship jerked around for a bit and lights flickered for a few seconds before it all stopped. Everything became so quite. Even the machine stopped humming. This reminded me of my last visit to Earth with my best friend Becca but its been a long time. On the Ark there was always a noise from either the constant engine sounds or even guards patrolling outside the Sky Box doors.
"Did we make it?" a blond kid voiced out.
"Maybe?" replied the guy next to him with with brown skin and brown hair and eyes," I'm gonna go have a look!" he unstrapped himself and made his way to the hatchet door to get down to the main floor.
"I'm coming too," the blond said, as he too unstrapped himself and followed his friend. Soon, the rest of the Juveniles unstrapped themselves and made their way down. Leaving me in my chair thinking if I should break my restraints or if I should wait to see if someone would take me out of them and get the special title of my friend and protection but after thinking of my options, I chose that its better to see if somebody breaks me out of them in that way I know who will be my allies. So now I'm strapped in this uncomfortable chair with my lonesome self, waiting to see if anybody will be my ally.
There was a mini commotion downstairs before I used my ghost powers(she can get out of her body and move freely and faster without anybody seeing her and she can pass through solids) when I got down I saw a brown haired, brown skinned and green eyed girl standing at the edge of the open door, before she stepped down her feet touching the grass and she yelled.
"WE'RE BACK, PEOPLE"! this girls voice cried followed by happy shrieks of the other prisoners.
