"Ughhh why do I have to be there as well?" You whined as you fixed your white kimono your mother had forced you to wear.

"Because, you are part of the main family." Your mother said.

You scoffed.

"Why does nee-san have to do this? Doesn't the guy have a kid?"

"It is in order to form an alliance, and your sister doesn't seem to be bothered that he has a child."

"You didn't really give her a choice..." You whispered quietly.

"What was that?"

"I said, did you hear that voice?"

As you said that, a servant knocked on the door, and a female with their hair tied in a bun opened the door and poked their head in.

"Kiyoko-sama, (Y/n)-sama, The Zen'in Clan have arrived, and Hayato-Sama has summoned you both along with Ayame-sama." The woman informs.

"Alright, we'll be right there with Ayame."

The woman bows and takes her leave.

"C'mon (Y/n), let's go."

'ughh time to show my teeth to a bunch of mysogynist idiots.' you thought to yourself as you stood up and went to get your sister.

You and your mother walked up to your sister's room and knocked.

"Ayame, it's me. Are you done getting ready?"

"Yes mother, give me a minute." Your sister said as she stepped out in her Baby pink kimono.

"How do I look?" She asked as she twirled.

"Wonderful!" Your mother complimented.

Your sister looked at your for your opinion.

"Ehh decent, you'd look better with a dress to be honest, nee-san." You honestly replied.

Ayame let out a sigh, she wasn't surprised. She knew you want to wear a hoodie and eat ice cream while watching something on netflix, instead of meeting your sister's fiancé's family right now.

"Ah, too late anyways, he can take it or leave it I guess. He'd be a fool to reject you anyway, nee-san"

"Yeah, yeah, stop flattering me and start walking before father scolds us for being late." Ayame said pushing you lightly to walk.
