"E-eh?! (N/n), why're you crying?!" She asked, Panic filling her face, assuming she did something to upset you.

"Uhh- I'm not! Just some sand got into my eye..." You said, rubbing your eye.

She was having a hard time believing that, but she couldn't imagine a reason for you to lie, so she decided to believe you.

"Oh! You got me worried for a second there..." She chuckled, rubbing the back of her head.

You chuckled with her.

"Eat up! Your food must be getting cold!" She said, before chewing on her own food.

You looked down at your food, the smile plastered on your face slowly faded.

You once again began thinking of what would happen if everyone was informed of this... Incident.

You thought how disappointed everyone would be.

Ayame, Ryouta, your mother, your relatives, your friends. But what you were afraid of the most was your father's reaction.

It wasn't like you were a perfect child throughout your life. You did make mistakes, sometimes silly ones, sometimes grave ones.

While your mother expressed her disappointed clear as day, your father never did.

Not towards the three of you.

Ryouta and Ayame were always considered better than you in the eyes of your grandparents, and the elders.

But your parents never thought that way.

Your mother scolded all three of you if you did anything she considered distasteful. And your father defended all three of you if he felt the need to.

"As humans everyone makes mistakes." Was something he said often. Especially when you mess up.

He was never too harsh on you three, which made him the more favourable parent in your eyes.

But this time, you didn't do something like loose a large sum of cash, or forget to collect the dresses for an important event.

You'd most probably ruined a relationship before it even started.

It sounded even worse when you kept thinking about it, but you couldn't just not think about it! It was a terrible thing.
