Your words had left Toji confused.

Well not exactly confused- it was a weird feeling. It felt somewhat familar to him. But then again he couldn't understand what he was feeling.

Him being the attactive dilf he is, obviously had gotten compliments before.

But "pretty" was a new one.

He was also kinda pissed because he couldn't exactly figure out what he was feeling, so he concluded that he felt flattered.

He washed up the dishes, and headed towards the bathroom to shower.

He let out a sigh while applying shampoo to his scalp.

He remembered how you muttered random bullshit under your breath while cursing at someone called "Choso". He found it very humouring.

And how you'd pout at him when he refused to let you have another drink.

Cute. He thought.

His eyebrows knitted in a confused manner.

Did he just think you were cute?

The last time he called something cute was when Megumi was playing with his mother, a few days after he was born.

And it was very long ago.

Getting out the shower, Toji dried himself and checked his phone for any messages.

He was welcomed with a text from Maki's mother. (Her name isn't mentioned, so she shall be referred to as Maki's mother 🤓)

(?Maki's mother?):
Megumi-kun wishes to go over to his friend's house. What do I tell him?

The mother of the Zen'in twins was the one who often took care of Megumi when Toji was away.

Although he didn't fully trust her, compared to the other adults in the house, she would be the most appropriate person to take care of his son.

Toji set the towel aside, small amounts of water dripping from his wet hair into his muscular shoulders, and down his chest.

Toji:
I'm coming, I'll drop him off.

He replied back, and clicked away from her contact.

As he was about to turn off his phone, he saw your contact below his aunt's.
