A New Stark

Blipped

it's been a month since the blip, it's what they're calling the disappeared.
I've been working with Natasha, helping out with whatever I could. life is boring, lots of people lost their loved ones

I was sitting in my room till pepper told me someone important is there. I ran downstairs to see the rest of the Avengers...and my dad sitting there

"dad" I sighed hugging him, he was in a wheelchair and had an IV. I understand why because he's been in space

"shelly...oh thank goodness I didn't lose you too" he sighed hugging me back

I pulled away, which means peters is gone...
"I'm sorry shelly...I couldn't save him" my dad sadly said

I felt tears fall from my eye but I quickly wiped them "it's fine...he'll come back, right...we're a group of powerful strong people. we can bring them all back"

Steve shook his head and my dad had a guilt face, "your right young girl I'll go find thano's and fight him" a blonde woman said

"We already tried what makes you think you can?" Rhodes asked
"I'm stronger," the lady said

"Wanda was stronger and she disappeared...Thor-" I was stopped mid-sentence

"Thor is still alive...he survived," Natasha said
"what? where is he?" I asked "Who knows but I saw him leave Wakanda"  Rocket said, (he's the racon from Wakanda)

"listen I can take him," the blonde lady said, "and who are you anyway?" I asked, this is the first I'm seeing her

"carol, captain marvel" she smiled, I rolled my eyes "okay well I'm going up to my room" I sighed

it's been two months since my dad came back, we moved to a cabin because pepper became pregnant. I'm excited about having a brother or sister but I just wish the blip didn't happen, all I wish is to see peter again

"Michelle are you alright?" Harrison asked, he didn't blip, my only friend that didn't blip

"Yeah I'm fine it's just...peters birthday is coming up and I planned on doing something special with him"

"oh well maybe we could visit the memorial thing they've built for everyone that blipped" he suggested

"Nah I'll just stay home, or do something alone" I sighed, I got up and left

we were sitting at the park, I drove home and hung out with pepper. my dad would constantly overwork himself.
I stopped training and working on my skills

every now and then I'd go outside and throw my daggers and knives, or flip knives around when I'd help cook dinner...I was lonely Harrison was the only friend left

I didn't speak with the avengers anymore neither did my dad, I'd go to school than home, and every now and then hang out with Harrison

"so peters birthday is coming up...he'll be seventeen, should I visit his aunt may or something?" I asked pepper

"I think that would be sweet, maybe we could make something for her" pepper said

"what are we making?" my dad asked walking in "oh peters birthday is coming up and I was saying how we should make something for his aunt cause he's not here" pepper explained

my dad cared for peter a lot, I think he grew on peter.
my dad agreed

the next day after school I picked up flowers for may then headed to my house and pepper put together lasagna, I headed over to the apartment.

I haven't been there in months, I knocked, I knew may was still here because I have seen her in the supermarket a few weeks ago

"Michelle? oh...peter-" I cut her off "I know, umm I brought you this, it's from Tony, pepper and i. I know it's his birthday and he spends it with you, so I brought you something"

she smiled and welcomed me into the apartment, it was the same as it was when I was last there. Though peters room was shut

I sat the food and flowers on the table and may hug me, "I'm sorry" I whispered

"oh Michelle...it wasn't your fault, he was just trying to save people," she said, I pulled away and wiped my tears

"it wasn't your fault either, you raised him well." I smiled
"I notice you're wearing the necklace he picked for you," she said

"yeah, this...I wear it all the time" I smiled playing with the necklace

may nod at everything, "do you have anything planned?" she asked, I shook my head no

"well I can't eat this all alone, and peter wanted you to have dinner with us" she smiled, I nodded and had dinner with her

since my uncle blipped I've been staying with my dad, I moved all my things out of our house. of course, I kept the boxes from my mother and I officially lived with my dad.

I'm a senior now, last time I have seen peter we were juniors. my friends were all juniors, I'll be graduating without them

but I need to stop worrying about them, they're gone. I need to focus on myself, my parents, and my now sister, Morgan

"hey can you watch morgan tonight, me and tony are gonna try and go out," pepper asked

"of course, go have fun little Morgan and I will watch a movie and stuff" I smiled looking over at baby Morgan who was crawling on her baby mat

"Okay, just make sure she's not up till ten" pepper assured, I nodded

before my dad and pepper left they went over Morgan's bedtime and blah blah

Morgan and I watched beauty and the beast, it's a classic, and Emma Watson played in the newer one

Morgan fell asleep around 9 and I fell asleep only minutes after, it was around 11 o'clock when I heard a knock on the door

I picked up Morgan and laid her in her room, then looked out the window and it was Natasha?

I opened the door confused "nat what are you doing here?" I asked confused

"I know it's late...it's just I was cleaning and I found your sweater," she says handing me my brown sweater

"Okay but you could've given it to me tomorrow or something, not this late at night, what if my dad opened the door"

"yeah well I knew he wasn't here and I know it's just I've been putting it aside actually...I also wanted to see you because it's been months since you've done anything with us"

"I know, I just haven't felt like doing anything with fighting and whatnot. I miss you guys, I really do but I need to focus on school and family"

"I know. well how about whenever you have the time come down the compound, we can hang out or something...you seem like you need a little joy, and babysitting isn't your style" nat smiled

I nodded "you've been stalking my Instagram haven't you"
"well when I wanna check up on an old friend"

I smiled and I heard a noise "nat did you hear that?" I asked
"what? is there someone else in the house with you?"

"wait here," I said, I walked to Morgan's room to see if she was alright. she was, I tucked her in and walked back to the door

"It was nothing, I'm probably just tired" I sighed
"okay well goodnight Michelle and umm I'll see you at the compound sooner or later"
