A New Stark

2 Years later

I am now Michelle Vos-Stark, I graduated last year, I'm now 20. crazy I know, I've gotten a job at some office and I'm doing online college because I want to stay close to my family

"shelly why do you have that?" Morgan asked, "have what?" I questioned

"that on your wall?"
it was a picture of me and my friends, "they're my friends" I smiled looking at the picture

"well how come I've never seen them, Harrison is the only one I've seen..." I stopped her little rant
"they moved on after school, they umm are living their best life's"

"so Harrison is boring?"
"what no, he just didn't want to leave that's all" I assured her that they were fine

So since the blip happened three years ago I decided it was time to date, it was hard because half the world was gone so I didn't have many choices

I did my normal run through New York and there was absolutely no one for me,

"Michelle, I've got you something I remember when you very first started all you wanted to do was shoot guns," Steve said

"oh no...please don't bring that up, I like my daggers and knives better. of course, when I need the gun I'll use it" I smiled in cringe that he was bringing it up

"well when the time comes you can use one, though I'm sure you prefer those little daggers" he laughed

"oh please, these things are a lot better," I said pulling out on dagger flipping it around my hand then throwing it at the wall behind Steve

he looked at me confused then I held out my hand only for it to come back quicker than it use to, yes I trained my daggers to get back quickly because they were super slow

"I take back my laugh, you have a good day with those" Steve says before walking away

"hey, nat how's everyone doing?" I asked entering her office, I noticed she's just gotten off the call
"oh umm it's all fine" she had a fake smile

"come on nat, you can tell me I'm not a kid anymore"
"things are still going to hell, it's been three years since everyone disappeared, people on other planets-" she sighed

"oh...is there anything I could do to help, on this plant at least," I asked

"No...you need to worry about yourself, your working on your degree on?.."
"my bachelor degree in science," I said

"right," she said agreeing
"it's online...my life is boring anyway, you know I'm thinking of moving back in here," I said

"Michelle no you have what you want, besides your dad will hate you for saying you want to"

she was right, my dad wanted nothing to do with the avengers. he doesn't even know I still hang out with Natasha and Steve

I sighed "my dad won't know, please nat...this world needs my help, I'll still be able to work and study, I have classes Monday and Thursday so I have time" 

I refused to tell my dad about this, "Michelle I still don't know...your dad will find out at some point and I don't want him to hate me any worse"

"fine but I'm still helping rather you want me to or not," I said being stubborn, I wasn't going to lose this argument even if it meant doing something my dad would hate both of us

so I do simple acts, I have my suit always in hand even if it's not needed. I can fight without it but I wanna look good fighting

I've stopped bank robbery's and just normal crimes that usually the police take care of but when I'm around I help because I get bored

once, I took Michelle out to the city and we got donuts, ice cream and went shopping, it was fun till when we were walking down the street and a man was taking someone's purse

of course, I pulled out my dagger and threatened him with it, of course, I wouldn't actually stab him...not in front of my sister anyways

Morgan stood there licking her ice cream as I told the man to let go of the bag. I told her not to speak of the act and well she told me one of her "secrets" it was really just her talking about how she's the one who ate the last popsicle

now she tells me all about those "secrets" which I don't mind I just hope they don't get worse as she gets older

"dad do you mind if I have Harrison come over, we were thinking of going swimming in the lake," I asked

"you and Harrison have been hanging out a lot...I don't mind though just make sure anything inappropriate stays away from your sister" he replied

"What? okay...me and Harrison are just friends nothing more, he's got a girlfriend as well"

it was true, Harrison and I never had that type of connection. I've always wanted what pepper and my dad had, I and peter did have that but it was long ago... I've given up on that though

"whatever shelly, have fun though" he smirked
"dad it's not like that trust me" I sighed leaving

the day was fun we were just like our teenage selves, of course, we let Morgan swim with us. I couldn't leave my sister alone.

we stayed out late, it's may so the weather was warming. time was better now...better than ever, these last few years were devising but I've made some interesting memories I wouldn't want to lose
