Another dull day at Hogwarts, talking with the other Slytherins, feigning interest in what they have to say. The importance of their heritage, what their mothers had to say in their latest letters, gossip about the Gryffindors. I can't help but roll my eyes as Draco boasts about his father's close personal relationship with the minister. Truly who cares? How is it that non of them ever seem to come up with anything more interesting to talk about than themselves. Although today Pansy does manage to steer the conversation to something ever so slightly different than normal. "So tonight then, what's the plan?" She says leaning in and lowering her voice as Mcgonagall walks past through the great hall. "The plan is to throw the party of the century, same as last year and the year before" Draco scoffs, sitting back pushing his hand through his hair and taking a large chunk out of his apple. I'm sure he doesn't realise that statement is utterly stupid. "Yes but who's the sacrifice this year?" Pansys eyes widened and glistened as she asked. Yes sad as it seems every year some unknowing, sorry soul from one of the lesser houses is chosen as 'sacrifice'. While this sounds wild and horrifying, no one actually gets hurt (usually). All it really means is someone gets made to think they're going to have a wonderful night of partying with us, when really they will be bullied mercilessly. "I've had them picked out for weeks, Daphne been helping me prepare them" Draco smirked turning his head to look at the Gryffindor table. Daphne thinks a lot of herself, but other people seem to as well lately. I guess she's pretty enough, but it seems that Draco has used her speak to his advantage to acquire this years unfortunate chosen one. You may be asking yourself why no one has ever told the teachers about this ritual of ours. Well honestly I have wondered myself but I'd guess it has something to do with the utter humiliation of people knowing. I suppose we will find out who's having their life ruined later, for now I'm going to continue to drown out these truly droll morons.
