Somewhere in Hotland was a human girl, laying on the dirty ground, near the edge. Her eyes were opened and she was staring at the fake sky of the underground. That person is obviously me.I'm quite uncertain of how I have appeared here, there was a chance that I have fallen through one of those portals or that I have ceased to exist but in either way, my body was killing me and there were no ways that I would move a little finger.
How long would I have stayed in that position? I don't know, it varies. It could be a whole day just like it could be two minutes but knowing that I was transported to another location, the second option was the most probable.
After resting my back a bit more, I sat up and face the edge at my feet with my usual blank expression. I start chuckling when I've imagined myself accidentally falling into the lava, I think that would have burned a little bit too much...
My eyes dart away from the magma liquid and glance around my body, looking as if I didn't happen to have my glasses near me. I have seen a glimpse of my phone that somehow was under a large rock which I hope the screen didn't break and my headphones around my neck with the cable tangled with my arms and legs, nothing new.
Unfortunately, my glasses were nowhere to be found. I could see without them perfectly fine, it's just the fatigue that comes after and how weird my eyes are without them. When I try to focus them, one eye is focused but the other is... I don't even know how to explain this... But I'm kind of slightly squinting after sometimes not using them, like 3hours after?
I gave up my researches and started accepting my fate of squinting forever until I get to have a new pair of glasses. I lean toward the large rock and lift it. I have at least pleaded a thousand times for the screen to not be shattered, you know, like Shattered Dream eh eh, ...
Okay, I stop...
Finally, my phone screen was very fine and because I've felt like doing it, I started checking on my latest notifications, my social media messages, my Wattpad's account, and lastly my games, to see if that lovely asshole of xXxI_hate_kidsxXx finally answered me.
He didn't.
I laugh humorlessly and went on Spotify to do my morning routine. I must at least have something normal going on with me, there's no way I'd travel into unknown but known lands without something familiar such as music.
While I was scrolling like crazy at my 1467 liked songs, I plugged the cable on my phone and moved my headphones that were around my neck on my ears, with the help of my shoulders.
Usually, if it comes to walk around while listening to music, I would have chosen a random anime opening song such as Silhouette of Kana-Boon from Naruto and sing wrongly the lyrics or a cartoon opening like Steven Universe. But now, I opt for Roleplaying Game from soramafuurasaka. Have you heard about the RPG meme that went viral on YouTube? That is from this Japanese song.
Enough slacking off, it's time to roam around, with my magnificent outfit and started to plan how to survive.
Step 1: localize your environment and find a perfect spot to zoon out for at least 10 minutes.
Step 2: learn how to merge with the mass of monsters.
Step 3: cry with sad music.
Step 4: don't die.
I walk around, listening to music while thinking of my perfect plan, occasionally almost tripping on my feet for enjoying the tune a bit too much as my body automatically starts moving around. Of course, I don't dance in public for fear to fall and get embarrassed, I only dance when I'm sure that I'm alone.
A sudden recall of the monster's existence pops in my head as I suddenly look around for some. In front of me, there was a white building with red wired and cables attached to it that I automatically presumed was Alphys's laboratory. I turned my head behind me, leaning my back slightly, and noticed that there was no one but cameras on the path. I look back at the laboratory and put my hood on, hiding my messy hair, the face mask held under my chin was lifted, covering my nose and mouth.
Technically, it was almost impossible to guess that I'm human. My skin is covered everywhere, my short was thankfully long enough to reach the length of my long socks, my neck was covered by a shirt with a long collar and my hands were in my pockets. The only details missing were my glasses, they would be perfect to hide my eyes, at least a little bit more...
Yes, I sleep in weird clothes, I'm conscious of this but everything can be pajamas if you try.
I decided to go to the LAB.
