Chapter Four How Embarrassing

Whew! I can't wait to get out of here the heat; of mid summer was not to my liking at the moment, I needed to cool off in the pool or the ocean; a holiday some where near the sea was very appealing to me right now.

I sighed two more hours to go before I had to leave work, I went back into the kitchen and helped with the last dinner preparations before I had to leave, I only had to dispose of the garbage in the dumpster out back. Then I'd be leaving to go home, as I went out the back door to dump the garbage. I heard a shout,

" Look out"

I was a bit slow in reacting and the next thing I knew I was up-side-down in the dumpster.

"Oh what the hell?" I shouted ":help,help"

I heard a someone chuckling and the next thing I knew I was being lifted from the dumpster, I was about to express my thanks to my rescuer when he said

"How embarrassing gorgeous, I like it when ladies fall over me, but not in a dumpster!" he said tongue in cheek smirking at me.

I looked up then at my rescuer and to my utter surprise it was the stranger from the Charity Event two months ago, I blushed bright red oh god why him of all people? why did he have to see me like this?

like hell I would tell him thanks, this arrogant man, wait why is he here? where did he come from? I thought to myself, then I said

" I don't know who you are, and I don't care just go and leave me alone!"

as I turned to walk away I found myself flat on my back on the ground this time, oh God why me? I thought now my face was being licked, and slobbered on I put my hands over my face to stop the attack of my Samoyed.

"Get off Roxy!"

I heard Callie shouting I looked up and there was my dog roxy and my neice Callie and that annoying man smiling at me, he offered me a hand which I ignored and slowly got to my feet.

"Aunty I'm sorry roxy threw u in the dumpster and knocked u down" ,

her lower lip trembled and I knew she was going to cry "Oh no sweeti it's not your fault u know how high spirited roxy is, I'm ok and I have no broken bones so don't cry", I tickled her chin eleciting giggles from her.

"Down boy"

I heard a deep voice saying to my dog and Callie turned around and gaped at the man, he looked at her dimpling and said " Hi my name is Alex, angel and what is your name?"

Callie blushed and looked at him saying shyly "Im Callie, gosh you're pretty can I marry you when I grow up?"

I stared at my neice astounded, wow Callie is something else, I can't believe this kid, she is so outrageous at times, I shook my head to clear it.

he replied "Of course you may marry me when you grow up, I will be waiting for you", he reached out and touched her hair.

"Aunty I'm going to marry Alex when I grow up, and you will bake the cake and cook for my wedding won't you, because you are the best at what you do, and I want you to do it". She smiled at me with her gapped tooth smile she was missing two of her front teeth she looked so adorable.

I said "yes I will sweetheart whatever you wish". Then I turn to the man "Mr Alex I'm sorry we took up so much of you time but please excuse us, I have to get Callie home".

"Don't worry about it, I love beautiful girls and women and both of you made my evening something I will never forget." He smiled at me wickedly n reached out and picked a pice of lint out of my hair, "I look forward to rescuing you again Bellisima", and he kissed my lips swiftly and walked away....
