Chapter 10 Alyssa

"Well well Mikayla arn't you looking like the cat that swallowed the canary?  You should be careful pet, some things are quite indigestible"  Alyssa said as she looked at me disdainfully,

I was sitting on a lounger by the pool reading a book. When Alyssa came down the steps and stopped regarding me spitefully after her little comment. I blew out a breath what the hell does this woman want with me?  "Alyssa what is your problem?"  I asked.  

 "Oh don't act so clueless, you are trying to get between Alexos and me, but let me tell you this it won't work!".  Alyssa sneered.

"I really don't know you and you don't know me". I sighed, "May be there is some way that we can get along, right?  Your father is a very nice person and I do like him very much, I'm sure he would like us to get along during the next few days at least". I said

Alyssa laughed maliciously "I could never get along with someone like you, you think because you have wealth and connections my Alexos will stay with you? no, no and no, let me tell you we are lovers and nothing you say and do will ever change that! I know what he likes and you could never satisfy him with your bland boring ways". Alyssa said spitefully.

I rolled my eyes at her "Alyssa Alyssa you are so immature, It's simple take him if you want to either way I won't have to deal with the insecure brat that you are, who has to chase a man who has no interest in you what so ever, I don't do the high school drama so I suggest, that you find a man of your own and try not to fuck with me, you spoilt little bitch!". I said regarding her icily.

"Why you! Alyssa lifted her hand to slap me, I was a lot quicker than her I grabbed her hand and slapped her hard across the face "Never in your pathetic existence try to hit me you little worm! I will erase your miserable life if you ever try something like that again!". I said and shoved her in the pool.

"Brava. Brava! Mikayala well played said Nikos clapping his hands as he and Elsa along with Stella came down the steps to the pool. "Alyssa darling why are you looking so angry isn't the water to your liking today?". He asked grinning at her

Alyssa swam to the steps at one end of the pool and got out then she grabbed a towel, "I can't believe she would assault me like that, I will report you!". she spat.

I regarded her with a bored expression and sighed "No one cares about you, you spoilt whore go and spread your legs in a whorehouse that's where you are needed!".

"I will tell Alexos about you, you neanderthal! I cannot believe he would be interested in a, a chimpanzee like you!".  "Alexos is mine! you hear me he's mine!".

"Oh please, you have been trying to get back with Alexos since forever and he is not interested in you, he's happy with Mikayla; and you can't stand that  give it up and get a life!". Stella spat

Alyssa stomped away from us angrily up the steps, and disappeared into the house.

"Ooh you were totally awesome Mikayla! you were like a tigress! I didn't know you were this fierce!". Elsa exclaimed looking at me wide eyed.

"what did you see?".  I asked

"Oh we saw everything! You really are awesome Mikayla! Now I see why Alexos is so determined to marry you: you are his match in every single way, no woman he dated in the past holds a candle to you, or can handle him like you!" Nikos said grinning from ear to ear.

"I need a drink, where is Alexos?". I asked

"He said he was going to be back in time for dinner, so we should just come back here while he finishes up some work at the office". Stella replied.

I blew out a sigh of fustration I wanted to talk to Alexos about Alyssa, I did not want her here, either she would be leaving Or I would go. "Ok I'm going to get that drink".  I said and walked away I went to the lounge and poured myself a small measure of bourbon, then went to my room. I thought back over the last few days the trip Alexos had planned for us to take three days ago was postponed. The problem arose because a contract  was not going through as smoothly as was originally planned. I was bored and restless I decided to check in at my resturant, there was always something to do at that place. I had a quick shower got dressed and told Stella I was going by my resturant. Arriving at my work place I walked straight into the office, Grace my Manager smiled at me warmly

"How's it going Mikayla? when are you and that sexy man of your's leaving?". She asked with a salacious look on her face laughing out loud.

I turned a mock shocked face to her "Grace you are old enough to be his mother!". I said scandalously grinning at her.

"Mikayla you have got a prime specimen of the male race all for yourself, I definately can appreciate looking at a delicious man, besides I'm not dead yet! if you ever get tired of him in the future I'm sure John wouldn't mind giving me a free pass!". She said as she laughed out raucously.

I shook my head laughing softly. Grace was the person who always cheered us up if we were having a bad day, Grace was happily married to her husband John for almost forty years ; she was almost like a mother to all of us "Grace you are something else, and to answer your question we are leaving on friday he had to cancel our trip temporarily to finalize a business deal that went wrong". "Now on to different things is there anything that I can help with here I was bored with nothing to do at his house".

"Yes you can sign those cheques and respond to your many emails, also your manager Stephan from Silkisence called he just wanted to know if you had approved the samples for the fall line you have coming out for next year".

"Ok thanks Grace I will get right on it". I went into my private office across the room and started working I made a few calls, responded to my emails while I was busily working away, the time flew by and I had to get ready to return to the house. I drove into the garage and made my way into my room, it was almost time for dinner I got dressed and we all had drinks and went into dinner.

Alexos seemed a bit pre-occupied I wondered what was bothering him, I looked at him and he stared at me with a heated gaze, he made me feel hot all over I wanted his hands on me. I decided to visit his room later to see if I could talk to him and find out what was wrong, with that in mind. I laughed and reponded to all the others around the table Mr Balsas was a really entertaining amenable man I wondered how on earth he had such a vile nasty person as a daughter, I watched her surreptiously trying to gain Alexos' attention she glared at me darkly everytime our eyes met, I regarded her with a bored expression she was a waste of human flesh in my opinion. I was relieved when the dinner was over I left for my room and undressed and went to bed I needed a small nap, I would visit Alexos' room after my a while. I woke up with a start "hell that was some nightmare!" I said to myself, I checked the clock on the side table six am! oh lord I slept the night away I had to see Alexos and tell him about Alyssa I had a quick shower brushed my teeth, and went to his room the blinds were opened letting in the early morning light. I heard a soft sigh

"Hmmm Alexos, Let me up I need to use the bathroom".

I could not believe my eyes Alyssa was in bed naked with Alexos! I gasped aloud "Alexos what is this?". I shouted.

Alexos sprung up he looked as though he was just waking up  "Wait what' going on?" Alyssa what are you doing in my bed?". 

"Oh come on Alexos caro you had to tell her sometime about us don't you think?" Alyssa smiled at me maliciously "Mikayla I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but well now you know".

I turned away before my anger could get the better of me, because I knew that if I lost control I would damage her and that bastard Alexos.

"Mikayla wait, I didn't sleep with her you have to believe me!". Alexos pleaded looking at me anxiously.

I glared at him and flung the engagement ring in his face and walked out without saying a word.
