Backstory: Bitten by the same werewolf as her brother. They both refused to sign the Werewolf Code of Conduct. To sign the WCOC (That's what I'm calling it) means you promise not to hurt anyone and lock yourself up every full moon. Fenrir Greyback began to see with this as not a curse, but a gift. He wanted to get revenge on the Ministry. He infected many people as possible and recruited as much werewolves as he could. He mainly targeted children so he could raise them away from their parents (Like he tried to do to Irina). This drove Leah away, forcing her to go on the run for years. Her brother and his pack chased after her and looked for her for years.

After the fall of Voldemort, Greyback finally found his sister and forced her to capture Sirius and Harley Black's daughter, Remus Lupin's Goddaughter, Irina Black. But Leah refused and with the help of Remus and Irina, Fenrir Greyback was sent to Azkaban.
