This is a story I've been wanting to write. Don't worry my Marinette Afton stories are not being put on Hiatus, but my Wish Dragon book is. I've lost a tun of interest in that book. Anyway someone told me they want this to be written. I also want to make my idea come to life, so @232Blue22 this is for you.

~Tikki's Head~

Hawkmoth's akuma's where getting stronger. My holder is also getting stronger but I fear it won't be enough. I didn't want to bother Marinette about this now, best to let her have a good sleep. Her birthday is this Friday... it also makes it eighteen years since the incident. I wonder what happened to her.

My eyes slowly started to close, it was getting late. I would need to be fully energized for tomorrow. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep.

It must have been a couple hours but I felt a huge wave of energy. I jumped only to be faced with a strange sight. Marinette's pencils where... floating? I floated down to Marinette to wake her, it may be an Akuma.

Marinette was sweating, her face was scrunched up. She must be having a nightmare... "Marinette!" I slowly nudged her cheek. She let out a small whimper, "Marinette you need to wake up!"

She let out a groan. This is going to be impossible! "Marinette! Adrien's here!" With that she shot out of bed, but everything that was floating in her room feel to the ground.

"Tikki? We talked about this!" She stretched out her words to make it more dramatic.

"Marinette I think there might be an Akuma! I felt a huge wave of energy, nothing like I've ever felt before." I quickly said before my chosen could go back to sleep.

"An Akuma?! At this time?! The weekend just ended! I have school tomorrow!" Marinette wined, but my thoughts were somewhere else. What could have caused such cosmic energy. It could be a villain, then again this amount of power I sensed was incredible. This would be an strong villain, even if it was that. Could it be? No! The baby was human, she had no powers. It can't be her...

~Time Skip Monday Lunch Time~

~Marinette's Head~

I spent almost all night looking for an Akuma. Maybe Tikki mistook the huge wave of energy as... I don't know, but it definitely wasn't an Akuma.

"Hey Girl guess what!!!" A familier voice grabbed my attention. It was Alya, the famous reporter. Even though Lila kept up with her threats, she still couldn't take all my friends away.

"What is it Alya?" I asked.

"A bunch of people spotted Ladybug last night! She looked like she was searching for something!" Alya squealed, her fan-girling for me was sometimes a little annoying. I was truthfully surprised people actually saw me last night. It was pretty late. "I wonder what Ladybug was doing out so late. Maybe she was searching for clues to find out Hawkmoth's identity!"

I internally winced. Despite it being many years since Hawkmoth's first appearance, Chat Noir and I haven't been able to defeat him. Maybe I wasn't such a good choice to be Ladybug...

"MARINETTE!"

I snapped my head up, Alya was yelling my name. "Girl you zoned out there, are you doing okay Marinette?"

I nodded quickly, "Yes, let's head to class before we're late."

"Girl we still have half an hour till lunch ends. Are you sure your doing alright? Do you want me to call your parents?"

"No it's fine." I tried to stand up from the bench, but a huge pain erupted in my back. I let out a little whimper. Alya instantly went to support me.

"That's it, I'm calling your parents." She quickly grabbed her phone, but before she could dial I snatched it from her hands. "Hey-!"

"Don't tell my parents Alya. It almost my birthday and I don't want them to be worried about me." I whispered yelled. She nodded a look of understanding, my family wasn't doing to great financially, since the bakery was closed due to Chloé saying there were rats. Mom got akumatized over the lie, but the bakery was still shut down.

I didn't want them to have yet another thing to worry about. I winced again, what was wrong with my back? "Marinette I don't know how I feel about that."

"If it gets worse I'll tell them. I probably just hurt myself from one of my famous "trip on air" moves." I laughed and soon Alya joined in. The pain evaporated, and we later on went back to class.

Class came and went. I felt no pain in my back, maybe the pain was because I sat weird on the bench. At least I hoped that was the reason, I don't want a major problem to happen. Especially during a time like this. We all said our goodbyes, Adrien was as dreamy as ever. He was talking to Nino about something, but he seemed to not want me to hear. He kept whispering to him when I was in earshot, and stopped talking when I joined them. Could it do with this Friday, or was it something else?

Your overthinking this Marinette, don't worry about it. I said hello to my Ma, then went to my room. Tikki was fast asleep in my hand bag, and I myself was really tired. Maybe a nap would do me good... I just want to check on something.

I walked over to my body mirror. I inspected myself then slowly removed my shirt. I stared at my back, right where the pain came from. My eyes widened as I ran my fingers across my shoulder blades. There we're to small bumps, each about in the middle of each shoulder blade. What was that?

I gasped out in pain as I felt my bones crack. Pain erupted in my entire back, it felt as if my bones where shifting. I stifled a scream, and started to cry. Soon the pain ended, I looked in the mirror and to my horror, it seemed the lumps had grown. I ran my fingers over them to double check, they we're defiantly bigger.

What is happening to me?!
