~Chat Noir's/Adrien's Head~

The wind on my face is so refreshing. Slowly washing all my stress away, was exhilarating as it was calming. I hope M'lady is out. She's the light in my life, along with my friends of course. The difference with her though is I can be the real me. Her smile fills my heart with warmth and staring into her beautiful ocean bluebell eyes makes me want to fly.

I smirked to myself. She would never feel the same though. I don't know how that guy she likes stole her heart, but he is sure lucky. I will respect Ladybug's choice, even if she doesn't choose me. You've stolen my heart but refuse to keep it.

I guess a part of me wants her to change her mind. I want her to see the love I have for her. Talking about showing that I care for people. Marinette's eighteenth birthday is tomorrow, and I bet a lot of our classmates won't care.

I warned Lila to stop, but that didn't last long. She has her hands wrapped around the egos of almost everyone in the school. The only reason Marinette hasn't been expelled is because of Chloé's threats. And the only reason Chloé is keeping Marinette in school is because of me. Even though it does mean I have to spend more time with Chloé, it's still worth it. Marinette is a very good friend, and I would despise it if she left.

So it looks like it's up to your favorite cat to save the day. Alya hasn't mentioned any plans for her Birthday, but if I know that woman well. She has something up her sleeve. I just have to ask and to ask I can't be Chat Noir.

I lept onto a random roof and sat down. "Claws Out."

My suit disappeared in a display of green lightning, leaving my boring outfit in their place. I quickly reached for my phone only to realize it's in my room playing piano music. How long has it been?! If only I had a watch! If Natalie is asking for my checkup text and notices that I'm not answering, would she go into my bedroom? My father will annihilate me if he finds out I've been sneaking out!

"Plagg we need to go!"

"What?! I need my camembert!"

"Plagg we have no time for that! I need to get back home immediately!" I yelled back, I didn't use his power so he should be charged enough... right? "Plagg Claws Out!"

I became Chat again and commenced to leap over buildings using my enhanced abilities mixed with the help of my baton. When I finally approached my father's house, I noticed the window closed. My heart plummeted, did they already discover my disappearance? What if Natalie was still in the room, or even worse my father.

Should I risk it? I'll have to give my Miraculous up if someone finds out my identity. Dang, it!

I slowly opened the window using my baton. Then I carefully searched the room with my eyes, there was no indication of anyone in the room. So I presume it's safe to enter. With a soft thud, I landed next to the piano, just as my transformation released. Must be because of the fact I didn't feed Plagg.

"I AM DYING OF STARVATION!!!" The small back god yelled. "I MUST EAT OR I SHALL PERISH!"

"Calm down Plagg, there is some more Camembert in the second drawer of my side table, but that depends on if you already ate it," I smirked seeing the small god get annoyed and then race to the drawer. He didn't come racing back out, so I presumed there was some Camembert left.

Now about Marinette's Birthday...

~No One's Head~

Little did Adrien know, someone just had a surprising discovery that could change things for the better. At least it would become better for Hawkmoth.

~Marinette/Ladybug's Head~

An alarm exploded from my phone, and Tikki quickly came flying out of her hiding spot.

"NO! Marinette you promised you wouldn't do this again! You've been doing this the past three days! You told me earlier you would stop, I can help you-"

Tikki was cut off as I took my earrings off. I whispered the recantation to make Tikki disappear. I hated misleading Tikki, but this was for the best. I only had a minute before the pain erupted in my back. I smothered my screams as tears came running down my face. It hurt a lot more today, but the bumps didn't grow. Which was a relief considering it would become harder to hide them. I placed the earrings back on, only to be confronted with the rath of the miniature goddess.

"Marinette how could you lie to me?! What is going on that you can't even tell me?"

"It's best if you don't know Tikki..."

"No! None of this 'it's best' nonsense. Marinette you can trust me with anything!"

"Don't worry Tikki I will tell you everything." As soon as I find out what is happening, I thought bitterly. I already crossed out a thousand sicknesses. Besides, I am not getting any additional side effects from it, so it can't be that bad right? Besides, I can't have anyone fretting over me.

"Marinette, please. I need to know if something might affect your ability to be Ladybug."

Me being Ladybug. Tikki is right, what if an Akuma attack happens during one of my 'attacks'? What if my condition gets worse? I can't risk Paris's safety for my sake. "Your right Tikki."

Her face changed to one of relief. "We need a new Ladybug... I can't risk anyone because of me."

"What!?" Tikki exclaimed in horror.

"If anything happens to me, I want you to tell your holder to get the Miracle box. Otherwise, I'll keep it with me just in case."

"Marinette you can't be serious, what is going on!?" Tikki pleaded.

"I know the perfect person to become the new ladybug." I kept talking.

"Wait!"

"Tikki I renounce you," I said while taking the earrings off.
