chapter 5.

I stand in the door way, half asleep still having that horrible image in my mind.

"Hay sal, your lover boy is here and is waiting."

"Hm?"

I look over to see larry staring at me with a concerned look on his face.

"Look, boss isn't here today so go sit with him, I'll come over with the order ok?"

"Ok, thanks ash."

"No problamo"

I scoff and walk over to the table larry was on.
I sit down across from him.

"Hay Lar."

"Hi sal. You alright?"

I sigh.

"No, the nightmare has gotten to me."

"Tell me what happend."

He grabbed my slightly smaller hands and covered them in his.
I blushed a bit.
His hands are so warm compared to mine.

"Just start from the beginning."

"Oh right. So I woke up in a pitch black room. All by myself."

As I tell him what happend, it comes back to me in flashes.

"And then what happened?"

"I grabbed her shoulder And turned her around and.."

"And?"

"Her face.. she had no face. . Like it was just torn muscle and blood."

"Shit dude."

"Yeah.."

I could hear my voice breaking in between words.

"I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I wish I was there to comfort you."

'Me too...'

"Yeah.."

I see ash walking over..

"Hello, would any of you like anything?"

"Um no thanks.."

"Ok, sal?"

"I-im ok.."

"Alright let me know if you need anything"

She walked away. .

"If your able to, do you wanna ditch this place?"

"Um..."
I turn to look at ash. She nods her head.

"Sure.. let me just put my apron away."

"Alright. I'll be by my car."

"Alright."

I take off my apron and hang it up.

"Sal, you alright?"

"Hm? Yeah just... stuff."

"Alright. You go. There's not that many people here today so I'll be fine."

"Thanks ash.."

"No problem now go."

I walk out of the cafe and see larry waiting by his car. It's a dark red, oviously passed down convo.

"Nice car."

"This thing? Very funny. Come on let's go. We can hang out at mine. I don't have class untill the afternoon."
