All over the courtyard and in the halls, there was students either heading to their clubs, classrooms, favorite spots or hanging out with friends.

Because of it being the first day of school, the students only have an half day after the opening ceremony for new students; finding homeroom, first lesson, second lesson, lunch, cleaning time and then going home.
With Ayano Aishi, she showed where the bulletin boards that have the students name and classroom numbers where located, to her friends.

Unfortunately, Kumi Demure is in classroom 1-1 and Midori Gurinishi is in classroom 1-2.

Midori was a little sad that Kumi is not in the same class as her, while Kumi was silently happy, but she felt sorry for Midori's classmates and teachers because the greenette is a chatterbox by nature, and will ask people millions of questions per minute.

After that, Ayano saw on the next bulletin board for second-years, and saw that she is in class 2-1, and that her homeroom teacher is: Mrs. Rino Fukahori.

Kumi's homeroom teacher is Ms. Reina Nabatame, and Midori's homeroom teacher is Ms. Natsuki Aburaya.

After that Ayano led the way to where the first-year classrooms where located. Before the girls can say or do anything else, the intercoms came on, alerting the students to please head for the gymnasium for the opening ceremony.

Midori let out a soft groan that they have to head to the gym now, while Kumi told her not to whine. Ayano told Midori to cheer up, as after the opening ceremony, they only have 2 lessons, then they will meet up on the rooftop for lunch and just have to clean the school before they can go home.

That made Midori cheer up, and so the three friends follow with the sea of other students as everyone heads for the gymnasium to start the opening ceremony.

The gym was huge, as there was hundreds of blue metal folding chairs that were filling up with students, all the teachers and staff members were sitting in front of the stage, as all the students filled up the seats behind them.
Parents and guardians of the first-year students were all standing in the very back of the gym, next to the main entrance where most students came from.

Once all the students where settled in, the headmaster of Akademi, arrived at the podium on the stage that was facing the school population. His name is Kocho Shuyona he has short, dark brown hair and glasses. He wears a light blue shirt with a red tie under a green vest. He has light brown pants and dark brown shoes.

Once he gets to the podium, the still chattering students quiet down, as he began to introduce himself to the new students of the school, and how he hopes that everyone doesn't cause trouble for the faculty and student council members, and that he will have the members of the student council come up, to finish the ceremony.

Afterwards, Kocho steps back as four students in fully white and red trim school uniforms show up, and approach the podium with one of them, a girl with long black hair and glasses began to introduce herself as the vice president of the Student Council, her name is Kuroko Kamenaga and she will be filling in for the Student Council President; Megami Saikou whose away from family business.
