Ayano Aishi is a shy, empty, emotionless school girl. She is in her second-year of her high school, and has not been shown the joys of emotions. That is until she meets two third-year students who change her blank, empty world, for the better.
After grabbing her drink that Yamada-senpai had paid for, Ayano returned to her classroom to grab her bento from her desk, and when she turned to leave, when the door slid open and several tired students came in and went to their desks to either grab their lunch money or their own lunches.
Osana stormed to her own desk and grabbed two bento lunches in similar color patterns; with one being light pink and the other light blue, Osana looked up and saw her classmate: Ayano Aishi, calmly leave the classroom through the back sliding doors and the memory of Aishi-San and Taro, getting close to each other near the vending machines, was enough to burn jealousy and rage, inside her.
Osana gets snapped out of her thoughts by her best friend, Raibaru calling her name, and asking her if she's alright. Osana snaps out of her inner thoughts and mumbles out that she is fine, then she grabs the bento boxes and leaves for the rooftop.
Up on the rooftop, there was many students, who were either by themselves or with their friends as some students were enjoying the view of the school campus or the petals of the cherry blossom trees all over campus. But a few people would glance at the mythical cherry tree, behind the school; it was hard to miss as it's the biggest tree on campus and has been in full bloom all year round from the past 30+ years since the school was built.
There are rumors about the tree being in full bloom, as it's being powered by the strong love confession's of past couples who have confessed underneath that same tree on a Friday afternoon, and how those couples are still together years after graduating from high school.
When Ayano got to the rooftop, she opened the door and immediately heard her name being called and turned her head to the direction and saw Midori frantically waving her arms out, as Kumi is sitting next to each other.
Ayano fakes a small smile as she begins to walk towards where her childhood friends were sitting and sat down with them as Midori sat in the middle of them.
As Ayano sat with Midori and Kumi, as they began to eat their lunch; third-year student, Taro Yamada was silently watching Ayano's every move as he sits on a bench pretty far from her.
Taro is shaken out of his thoughts of the mysterious second-year, when his childhood friend Osana finally arrives with two bento boxes in hand. The pair greeted each other as Taro tossed Osana a carton of strawberry milk.
A shade of pink, crosses her cheeks as Osana thrusts the blue covered bento box to Taro, "Here!"
"What is it??" Taro questioned her, as a teasing smile graced his lips, Osana's face burned red in annoyance, not getting Taro's teasing behavior. "It's a bento, stupid!" "You made me lunch?" Taro ignored her as grabbed the bento from her, "I didn't make it for you!! I just, m-made to much food this morning. So, you can have the extras!!" Osana had turned her head away from Taro as she crossed her arms underneath her chest.
"Oh! Cool! Thanks a lot!" Taro exclaimed, "Just, shut up and eat it!" Osana complain as she sat down and anxiously waited for Taro to tell her how it tasted.
Taro unwrapped the bento and opened the lid in his lap, and after saying 'thanks for the meal', Taro stared down at the food, before he started eating.

Taro enjoyed what he was eating and and told Osana as so as Osana blushed at Taro's compliment, and she then sat down and began to eat her own bento.
Even as Taro was eating Osana's spare bento, his mind and his eyes would drift off to where Ayano was sitting with her friends as he observed the green haired chatterbox and the blue haired silent girl as the three students ate their lunches.
After 30 minutes, lunch was over and the students began to return to their classrooms and grabbed what they need to begin cleaning the school grounds.
After eating lunch with Osana, Taro returned to his classroom to put her bento box in his bag, and then he went to the storage room where the was spare cleaning supplies. A pair of female students left the storage room holding rags and buckets as Taro went inside and grabbed a mop and bucket.
Afterwards, Taro left for the boys washroom down the hallway, as he passed by other students who were cleaning the hallway and their own classrooms. Taro arrived at the boys bathroom and met up with Budo and who was walking out of it, and asked if Taro needed help. Taro nodded his head, and Budo grabbed the bucket as both boys reentered the men's restroom.
Inside was a few male students who have changed into their gym clothes as they began cleaning the restroom so Budo filled the bucket with water and then grabbed the bleach and pour some into the bucket. One of their classmates who was cleaning one of the toilet stalls, asked Budo and Taro if they can leave the bucket for them and Taro said yes as both him and Budo ducked the mops in the water and left for their own classroom.
Inside the desks and chairs have already been moved to the other side of the room and are stacked as some students where cleaning the windows and whipping the chalkboard with rags, so Budo and Taro began to mop the floor.
Other students moved out of their way, when they were finished with their own jobs and left to put what they grabbed away.
When both boys finished, they left to clean the mops as some of their classmates came back and began to move the desks and chairs back to the way they were as the floor has dried.
As both males were cleaning the mops and rinsing out the now dirty bucket as they were the only ones in the restroom, Budo began making small talk. "So, Yamada. Who was that girl I saw with you earlier?"
"What girl??" Taro asked, as he had a feeling on who Budo was referring to, "You know who. The cute one with long black hair in a ponytail, you bought her a drink earlier." Budo replied as he was drying out the mop, Taro's mind went back to thinking about the mysterious second-year. "Oh her? Her name is Ayano Aishi. She's a second-year and in the same class as Osana and Fumetsu." Taro explained to his fellow classmate, as he was curious about why would Budo want to know about his Kohai.
"Why do you ask??" Taro replied back to him, as something unknown began to fill his mind. "Well, I have a cousin who just moved here and she told me about a new classmate of hers named Aishi, who outran everyone in their class, during gym class. I became curious and wanted to know more about her." Budo replied as he finished and placed the mop, in the bucket right next to the other cleaning supplies and left the men's restroom.
Taro's mind wandered back to Ayano, and he wanted to see her again, before he met up with Osana and walked home with her.
