Eve Lancaster, the anxious nondescript, is revealed to another side of her former classmate Ian Samuels, the brooding introvert. He, a master of keeping up his guard at all times, puts all cards on the table when Eve finds him all by himself one night, crying at an abandoned playground. A short story about two self-destructive teenagers who have known each other for almost two years, yet still consider each other strangers. Until a coincidental encounter reveals that they're not that different after all.
