CHAPTER THIRTY.

note: the events in this chapter happened before Jeongguk time traveled in 1973 and also shows what really happened in the past.

"I cheated on Taehyung."

Lucy paced back and forth, feeling anxiety and fear crept through her chest as her mind was filled with negative thoughts.

She bit her lip in worry, what will Taehyung do if he ever finds out? God, Lucy is fucking screwed. Her boyfriend is probably the scariest one out there when he gets angry.

You see, their relationship was toxic as hell. Taehyung was so fucking posessive but Lucy was too! But not that serious like him.

With Taehyung's undeniably gorgeous looking face, she also sometimes gets possessive as girls try to throw themselves at him. Taehyung would always find this adorable whenever she gets jealous.

But when Taehyung does it, letting the possessiveness engulf him as a whole, it irks Lucy so much and that leads her on disobeying his rules, cheating on his back with someone random guy she met as she does not let him control her.

But that was the biggest mistake she made in her whole life.

"I can't believe you did that." Mirae, who was in her fifth month of pregnancy spoke, sipping her tea watching her best friend pace back and forth.

"What is he going to do if he finds out?" Lucy bit her lip harshly, a train of worries running through her mind at the thought of Taehyung.

"He might kill you. You know that Taehyung is the type that you know..." she trailed. "Like eliminating someone?"

"Argh! You're not helping!"

"Your fault for having a mafia member as your boyfriend!"

"What am I going to do now?" She rested both of her hands on her head, trying to think of ways on how to survive Taehyung's wrath once he came to know about this.

"I really don't support your actions but knowing your boyfriend Taehyung, try to pretend that everything's okay or else," Mirae spoke. "I might lose you."

"You won't"

"Son, calm down."

Two days after finding out that his Lucy just betrayed him by cheating on his back, Taehyung is burning in rage.

How can she do that to him? Taehyung loves Lucy with all of his heart. She was his anchor, saving him from his demons that lurk around his head. He gave his whole heart to her and yet this is what he gets in return?

Blinded by anger, thoughts of killing both of them swirling around his head. He wants to give them a painful death.

"How can I fucking calm down?! I fucking love her yet she dare to cheat on me with some random guy?!"

Taehyung was breathing heavily in anger, bloodlust slowly creeping on his chest as his hands were itching to kill Lucy and her boy toy.

"I'm going to kill her." He gritted his teeth."

Daehyun sighed. "She's the daughter of the mayor who protects our identity, Taehyung. We can't kill her."

Taehyung clenched his fist in anger, his veins on his neck popping out. There it is again, his father controlling him like always, like a puppet that he was.

Taehyung just shook his head at Daehyun in disappointment and went out of the room, shutting the door with a force that made Daehyun flinch on his seat.
