Lettie

Lettie is four here.

It was Lettie's fourth birthday. The family of course spent a whole lot of money on gifts for lettie, which she didn't even pay attention to.

she ran straight to a smug looking storm who had a huge chocolate cake in his hands, knowing lettie would come running to him.

She did go running to him but then Lucius entered with a two tiered cake packed with chocolate. Now lettie was confused. So she just turned around and ran off to her gramma who had homemade brownies in her hands while Lucius and Storm just stood there in disbelief.

Aries and Athene weren't even surprised as they stood to the side, laughing their asses off at the stumped and disappointed looks on everyone's faces except Lettie and grandma Delilah. Lettie was just happily devouring her brownies while delilah just looked smug.

Salvatore suddenly smirked.

"Little one, I have your present in the backyard." He told her smirking, Lettie's eyes lit up.

Backyard meant cookie. Did he bring cookie there?

He scooped her up in his arms making her laugh loudly and quickly walked into the backyard with the others following curiously.

They walked a little further away from the mansion to see a whole stable there, fully equiped with everything needed to take care of a horse. There were caretakers too.

Lettie gasped as she saw cookie in the stable, along with a new husky puppy sitting on him. She didn't know what it was called.

"Cookie! You have a puppy?" She curiously asked, making everyone laugh.

"The puppy is yours, little one. Do you like him?" Salvatore softly asked, kissing her head.

She gasped.

"My puppy?" She asked with wide doe eyes.

"Yes princess, your puppy." Aries laughed.

She was still wide eyed as Salvatore gently sat her on Cookie's back, right behind the puppy who jumped awake and stared at the little human curiously.

"Can I touch you, puppy?" She softly asked him, tilting her head.

The puppy copied her, tilting his head to the side.

She slowly raised her hand to touch him, but the puppy raised his nose and sniffed her hand, licking it once he was familiar with the scent.

He decided he liked the human so he barked excitedly at her and jumped on her, making her fall off of cookie with the puppy still in her arms.

She fell to the ground, and hugged her puppy to her chest, protecting him from the fall. Everyone's eyes widened.

She was silent for a minute before big fat tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Literally everyone huddled around her, asking her all at once if she was okay. Lucius even tried to pick her up.

The puppy was scared now and he whimpered,  huddling closer to the little human he liked.

"You're scarwing him." She cried, hiccuping. Her arm hurt.

"Oh princess. Everyone stop crowding her!" Aries yelled, picking her up with the pup still in her arms.

The puppy, becoming protective over his little human, tried to growl at Aries. He also tried to bite him.

"He's my daddy, Puppy, you don't hurt my daddy." She scolded, still crying.
