The next day, after waking up, the first thing Lettie did was look for her prince luci.

She didn't find him. She called and called but he didn't come running like he always did.

That brought tears to her eyes. She plopped down on the middle of the hallway and started crying her eyes out.

All the maids and guards tried to calm her down or distract her, but their efforts bore no fruit.

"I want prince luci!" She cried. He always woke her up. Why not today?

When they couldn't take it, one of them finally called Aries who came running with Athene hot on his tail.

"Oh princess" Aries and Athene sighed in unison when their little girl made grabby hands at them with wide teary eyes and quivering lips.

Aries picked her up in his arms, codling her and cooing at her while Athene rubbed her back soothingly.

"Daddy I want prince Luci" She whimpered, making him sigh sadly.

"We can't see him right now, princess, but he will be back soon okay?" He tried to console but Lettie didn't want to hear any of it.

An hour later, she was ready for school but she refused to eat anything. Everyone had tried, heck even storm had tried on call, but she refused to relent.

"Look sunshine, I have pineapples for you!" Atlas pushed a plate towards her, but she didn't even look at it.

"I don't want to eat, Attie." She sadly told him.

Then she just ignored everyone and grabbed her guards hand, dragging him out to the awaiting car.

"She'll cheer up. Eventually." Athene frowned, not liking the gloomy Lettie. She just wanted her happy baby back.

At school, Lettie paid attention to all her classes, but she didn't even play with her friends. They could sense something was wrong but Lettie refused to communicate much other than two or one worded answers.

"Hey Lettie you look pretty today." Jamie tried to start a conversation for the hundredth time since morning.

"Thanks jamie." Lettie sighed, moving away from him.

"Okay then." Jamie frowned sadly.

"I have cookies for you, Lettie!" Zeus tried to cheer up.

"I just had lunch, Zeus." She frowned.

"But you only ate one sandwich. You always eat four!" Hestia furrowed her brows, now seriously worried.

"Well im not hungry." She spoke politely.

She didn't want to act like a brat. Luci wouldn't like it.

After school, Lettie still stayed gloomy, though Toni cheered her up a little with his kisses, but it didn't work for long.

A month passed and though Lettie had started eating properly and talked to everyone, she was still gloomy and sad.

It was her fifth birthday today and her prince Luci was still not here so she was extra sad. Luci always wished her first.

The family tried to cheer her up with cake, gifts, kisses and a lot of affection but nothing worked until it did.

Lettie gloomily stared out of the window, sighing for what seemed like the thousandth time.

"Come on princess, let's cut the cake!" Aries enthusiastically told her, but she didn't even turn around.

"I don't wanna, daddy." She pouted.
