Chapter 7: The beginning.

(Y/N's POV)

It was another day of school again and my body is low-key aching from yesterday but I have some dough to spend or save, it depends on the situation really. I just walked straight to math class and expected both Rias and Akeno to show up but this time....they are not there. Like, I sat down and waited for ten minutes and they did not walk inside the classroom. I don't know what's up and it seems like I'm not the only one who thinks the same as the class now was talking about it. One boy even tapped my shoulder and asked me about it since he and half of the class here know they are friendly to me and I told him I had no clue what's up. He said ok and went back to his friends talking and I was having questions in my head.

Y/N's mind- Where in the hell did they go?

(Timeskip)

It was lunchtime and since none of the girls were at school, it was back to me being solo again but since I had a few years of loner experience, it wasn't a big deal but still...I kinda grew used to them and enjoy their company, ah then again that's life, you never what today or tomorrow will bring. Well, I got done with my food and going to throw away my trash in the can so I went to the one closest to me but while I was walking over there, I saw two guys in a huddle talking and looking at something. Me being a curious ass, I sneaked behind them to see what was up, it turns out they were looking at a TikTok of a guy with one of those flyers I put up yesterday so it seems like he was around the area that day. Anyway, the guy was talking about the flyer and was gonna attempt to 'call upon' whoever it was to their own home. Some wack-ass music was playing and he was doing just what the flyer said with some laughs along the way and when he reached the final step, all of a sudden a red bright appeared for one second before the TikTok ended. The boys were questioned about it and I made a quick getaway before they saw me peeking at them. I made it to the can and threw my trash away but I walked along the hallways thinking about what happened on that TikTok, now those TikToks usually end very crazy and sometimes mind-fucked but that was on a whole different level. What? Did they just summon hell or something? Well, there's nothing I can say besides that, and let's see if anyone else saw that same TikTok. 

Sometime later...

It turns out that people are now talking about the mysterious TikTok and everyone is coming with their own shitty theories and whatnot and some were generally concerned about it as they noted that no special effect that good or bright is in the app, so they are thinking something did happen and we just can't see it. I personally don't know what that was about but I lowkey don't care enough to find out for myself. As long it was fake or planned, things like that... it's fine. But anywho, without the girls around, I'm in one of my lone spots watching some Netflix and eating some chips I bought in the school's cafe area which I didn't know existed till today so that's a bonus with the cash I have. I began to wonder where and what are the girls doing that they had to skip school, usually I don't wonder but this time I do and I don't know why I am. 

Y/N's mind- What's going on with me right now...I feel a sense of change and I don't...like it. 

(Timeskip)

(No POV)

In the night, we see a girl who looked to be a freshman in her room alone with only a couple of lamps on and holding a flyer. She was reading it to follow the instructions carefully and perform the summoning perfectly. After some time, before she said the words, she was in a mood of doubt and fear and was having second thoughts of doing this. But then, she remembers why she did this in the first place, she wants someone to help with her situation at home. She knows that her home is a toxic one, both her parents care for none of her, she has no friends and has been verbally abused all her life. She hopes that if she can summon a devil, she can do whatever it takes to leave the house she thinks is hell. With her determination back again, she performed the summoning and now waited....and waited. She waited for some time and nothing happened, the girl began to lose hope and was about to abandon this whole thing when...

*FLASH!*

A red circle appeared on the floor and then the girl saw the one and only Rias Gremory appeared before her 

Rias- Greetings human, I am Rias Gremory...at your service. What do you wish to seek with me?
