#6 The Party🐉

Yu Yan's POV.

After waking up with Keni's body lying next to mine, I slowly stood up as I tried to not disturb her sleep. Saturday was my favorite day of the week, not only because it was a free day without a school, but also because of these nice mornings, that I spent with my roommate.

Starting to make a healthy breakfast for us, I did myself a cup of coffee and went outside to have a smoke. It wasn't even a 3 minutes before Keni opened the door to the terrace and joined me.

"Hi Yan," She smiled, "Thanks for being my pillow again..."

"Don't mind it." I said as I took a drag from my cigarette and looked at her, standing next to me and looking quite cold.

Not wasting any minute, I took the jacket that I was wearing and put it over her shoulders for her to not freeze, "Just wear this, its cold outside."

Her eyes looked at me, the curves of her lips turning upwards slightly as she asked and held out her hand. "Can you give me one?"

While my mind wasn't really understanding her request for a few seconds, I stared at her before actually realizing what she wanted, "Are you sure? I thought you don't smoke..."

As I gave her one of my cigarettes, her hand went to my pocket to fish up a lighter, "I don't smoke, I just feel like it now though."

Just staring at her as she tried to lighten up her cigarette made me smile. "I might be late today, I'm having party with Sunrui and others." I took the lighter from her hand and lightened up her cig myself.

Blowing out some smoke of her lungs, she nodded, saying that she has a party with her friends too.

We stood there for a five more minutes before actually going inside and had our meal. It was only 9 AM when we finished our food, so we snuggled into our couch and watched some cartoons for kids. I loved Saturday mornings like these, they were just peaceful.

Probably dozing off a few times, I woke up around noon with SpongeBob playing on the screen of the TV. Getting up, I went to my wardrobe to change the clothes I was wearing to something sportier and went for a run through the park. It was nice sunny day, perfect for some head cleaning while jogging.

Feeling as good as I could as my legs were doing their best, my eyes spotted a new restaurant, which was probably opened only for a few days. I looked through their glass to see what they sold and how it looked in there. Seeming like a family restaurant with a lot of customers, I stepped inside and ordered two meals take away before waiting for my order to be finished. It didn't took more than 20 minutes before my food was ready and I could go home.

Smiling to myself as I was excited for this meal, I went to our apartment hurriedly, only to see Keni still on the couch. "Zeng Keni!"

Looking behind her, Keni rose up from her spot and opened her arms widely. "Yu Yan!"

Running to my direction to give me a hug, she sniffled something delicious in my hand before taking it from it. "What is it? Is it for me?"

I took it from her and put it on the table as I prepared our chopsticks for us to eat, "Yes, it is for you but it is also for me, so back off."

Sitting on the chair like a good kid, Keni waited for me to open the containers. "Hurry up Yanzi, I'm starving."

"You should eat something then..." I told to her as I gave the tall girl her food.
