She took my hands in hers. "Promise me that you'll take care of yourself. Pro...Promise me."

"Don't say like that, eomma! You promised me that you'll never leave me!"

"Promise me, my dear." I nodded, not being able to say anything.

"Ji Ho, promise me one more thing. There are people who might try to hurt you after I'm gone. Just promise me that you'll survive their actions. Never do something that you regret.....even if you do, try to make it right."

"I promise..." She caressed my head and closed her eyes.

She closed her eyes.....forever.

Tears fell down my cheeks as I recall those sad memories.

"Ji Eun...." I heard someone call a name.

I slowly opened my eyes. I was still there in that room with the same people.

"Lady Ji Eun, drink it." The girl, Areum said making me snap out of my thoughts. She fed me a drink and touched my forehead. "Lord Choi, her fever is down."

"That's a relief. We'll leave now. We have some business to do. Make sure she eats her food." The man said and left the room with his son giving me a sad smile.

After they left, Areum closed the door and sat beside me.

"What had happened to you, my lady? We found you when you almost drowned to death in the canal. How did you fall in there?" She asked me with a single breathe not moving her eyes from me.

"Umm....I-I don't remember anything about falling in the canal."

She sighed looking the other way.

"Areum-ssi, why do you keep calling me...your lady?"

"Lady Ji Eun, what's wrong with you? You are a noble! How can you keep using honorifics with me? I am your maid!"

"Huh! I'm a NOBLE?" My eyes went bigger after hearing the word 'noble'.

"I should inform Lord Choi Jae Joon about your condition once he's back."

'Oh no....what will they do to me if they know that 'Ji Eun' lost her memory. I can't even tell them that I'm not who they think I am.....they won't believe me for sure.'

"NO! No need to tell anyone anything. I just lost some parts of my memory. They'll be tensed. I beg you, Areum." I held her hands and begged her.

She thought for some minutes and finally her mouth left a long sigh and she nodded her head as a 'yes'. I felt relieved.

"So....where should I start from?...Oh right! Is there someone named Hae Soo in Goryeo.....perhaps a noble?"

I asked her out of curiosity since I wanted to know if Hae Soo really existed or not. Most probably she didn't exist, 'Moon Lovers' is a fictional drama afterall. I was expecting her to say 'no' like she was supposed to.

"Yes. Did you forget that Lady Hae Soo is a close friend of yours? You felt so sad when she had to go to the palace to take care of her cousin, 8th Prince's wife, Lady Myung Hee." She said the last sentence with a pout.

I couldn't believe my ears. Hae Soo existed in real life!.....and she was in the palace. DOES THAT MEAN.....

"Is Hae Soo okay?! She's not hurt right?" I was scared if all that happened in the drama with her are true. Like....Go Ha Jin becoming Hae Soo.

Areum looked really confused after listening to my question. "Yeah." She shrugged as if nothing has happened.

"Why would anything happen to her? She is safe inside the palace walls. But why are you asking this?Ah! I get it. You miss her right? She was so close to you afterall." She said with a frown.
