"So you're telling me that she looks like your best friend?" I nodded my head as a 'yes'.

Soo sighed. "Whatever is happening here, do you think this is our past life?"

"I don't know but....it's weird to see my best friend here. She's definitely not my best friend but- Ahhh! It's so frustrating!" I whined for the third time.

The next thing I feel is a hard smack on my shoulder. Soo smacked me.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"Don't go around swearing at the 14th Prince. He was asking me what 'shibal' means."

"Well...why does he have to get on my nerves all the time?" I shrugged.

Another smack landed on my back.

"Still don't swear at people like that. What if he knew what it meant?"

She's such a 'mum' sometimes. Her futue kids are going to get a strict mother for sure.

"I'll try to finish my tasks early today. We'll celebrate Prince Eun's birthday today. Don't get in any other trouble while I'm gone."

She left my room and I did the same after a while gathering the confidence to face anyone, mostly Soon Duk.

A little far from where I was, I felt someone's presence behind me.

Suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me behind the walls. It was a man.

I didn't know how to react so I did what I should've. I grabbed the hand that grabbed mine with my other hand without even looking at the person's face.

I twisted his arm behind his back making him loosen his grip on my hand and then I immediately grabbed his other hand.

I locked both his hands behind his back with one of my hands and grabbed his head through his hair with the other one making him face towards the wall.

"Who are you?"

"Ji Eun...Ji Eun, it's me." His voice sounded familiar.

"It's me...Baek Ah..." My eyes widened and I took a step back releasing him almost immediately.

He turned around hissing because of the pain on his wrist. "I'm really sorry. I didn't know it was you. Are you okay?" I hated that I sounded so concerned. I sound so weird when I do that.

"I'm fine. How do you look so pale but have a lot of strength? Where do you get all these energy, Ji Eun?"

"I look pale?" I guess I've to eat more to gain more strength.

"Yes. But you still look pretty." He giggled. My heart suddenly started fluttering.

"Ji Eun-ah, did your heart flutter?"

"Huh?"

"You look flustered." He smiled and patted my head.

He was flirting and I was definitely falling for him.

"Ahem...I am NOT flustered." I cleared my throat looking away. "Why did you pull me? Do you have anything to say?" I asked still not looking at him.

"No. I was just playing around with you." I finally looked at him with a disappointed look.

"That's it?"

"Hm." He nodded his head.

I sighed. "I should get going." I rolled my eyes and started walking.

"Stop. I was just kidding." He pulled me back. "I'll walk you to where you're going."

"Okay..." I responded faintly and we started walking together.
