Hunter POV

I was at the Blights house, retrieving the Abomitrons for Belos. He wanted them all for some reason. It might be for The Day of Unity but I'm not asking questions, just following orders. I told Mrs. Blight that we wanted all of her Abomitrons.

"Oh! Yes! I'll get some for you." She said. She turned around and screamed

"ALADOR!!" And started walking in his direction. Boy are they weird. I looked around, the stage had collapsed, and there was Abominations sweeping the floor. I looked some more and I saw a girl and a boy. They looked very similar, I think they were the Blight twins.

The girl she, she was so pretty. She was standing against the wall listening to her brother talk. I had only realized I had been staring at her when she looked at me. She looked at me for a second, winked, and then looked back at her brother.

My face had gone red, she couldn't see it, but I could feel the heat on my face.

"Golden Guard?" Odaila said, trying to get my attention.

"Huh?" I said confused, not knowing how long I might have been lost in thought.

"The Abomitrons" she pointed.

"Oh! Uh, yes I'll take those." The Abomitrons followed me as I walked out the door.

Emira POV

Me and Ed were supposed to be helping cleaning up, but Ed wouldn't shut up about this new person he met. He kept talking about how cute they were. But he looked really happy, so I listened.

I realized that the Golden Guard was taking our Abomitrons, I looked at him and it looked like he was staring at me, I winked at him. I did the same kinda thing when I was hanging out with Luz at the library, I'm pretty sure she blushed when I did, and I was positive he did too.

I looked back at Edric as he kept talking. I saw Golden Guard walking out the door.

"Hey Edric, hate to interrupt you, but I have to do something real quick. I ran out the door. Golden Guard wasn't far. I screamed,

"Hey!" He stopped and turned around, something about his mask seemed familiar. I mean yes I've seen posters of him around town before, but I feel like I've seen it a long time ago. Eh, probably Deja Vu.

"You're Golden Guard, right?"

"Correct."

"Well, hopefully, I'll see you around!" I started to walk away. I looked back a little, and saw him standing there, I could see his blush through his mask. I heard him mumble something but I kept walking.

Hunter POV

"Hey!" I jumped as I heard someone scream behind me. I turned around and saw the girl.

"You're Golden Guard right?" She was talking to me, why?

"Correct." Correct? Why did I say that? I could've said yes like a normal person. Ugh

"Well hopefully, I'll see you around!" She started to walk away.

See me around? She wants to see me again?

"Yeah hopefully" I mumbled. Oh shit did I say that out loud? Did she hear me? Hopefully not. I saw her walk in the doors of the house. I turned around and started to walk to the palace

2 hours later

I did some research, her name is Emira, and she is in fact one of the Blight twins, it was 11:15

I figured I could try to sleep, it usually never worked and I would end up staying up all night.

For some reason though tonight I was really tired. I jumped in my bed, grabbed my Sprig plushie and laid down. As soon as my head hit the pillow my eyes closed and in a minute I was asleep, this has never happened before but it was fine. I liked the feeling, I haven't slept in a while...
