Emira POV

2 weeks passed from the awkward dinner, and me and Hunter started dating! I was in my room scrolling through Penstagram when mom yelled,

"KIDS! COME HERE!" We headed over to the living room where Mom and Dad were sitting. We sat across from them.

"You all know we hold a Masquerade Ball every year. And I know you all have dates, so this year I'm letting you all be free from responsibilities and dance with your dates." We all looked at each other then we looked at Mom.

"Really?" Amity asked.

"Yes" We all got excited!

"So go ahead and ask them out or whatever, the ball is tomorrow night." We all ran to our rooms, excitedly. I wrote a note to Hunter asking if he would come to the ball with me. I sent the note with the help of my palisman. Then I got ready for school.

Hunter POV

I was getting ready for the day when something knocked on my window. I turned around and saw a palisman with a note. I grabbed the note and read it. It said,

So my parents hold a masquerade ball every year, and they said I could invite someone, soo

Would you like to come to the ball with me?

P.s it's tomorrow at 6!

She was asking me to a dance? I blushed.

"Yeah I will go.." I mumbled, but the palisman heard me, and it started to run away.

"NO WAIT COME BACK!" I screamed, but it didn't come back. I assumed it was going to tell Emira that I accepted. Whatever she'll know that I'm going there. I was actually really excited. I just need to find out what I'll be wearing.

" I'll look at stuff later today, and walked out of my room."

Amity POV

I couldn't believe it. Mom was letting me bring Luz to the ball! I might as well invite Gus and Willow.

"Oof!" I yelled. I bumped into someone, they turned around, it was Luz. I must have been lost in thought.

"Oh! Sorry Amity!"

"No, no it's fine, I wasn't paying attention." I looked at her and blushed.

"Soooo, Luz, My mom is holding a masquerade ball, and she said I could invite someone as a date, sooo um.. will you go to the ball with me?"

Without hesitation Luz screamed,

"YES! Of course!" We jumped up and down and squealed. Then I remembered Willow and Gus were there.

"Oh! You guys can come too! You can bring a date or you can come by yourself."

"Cool! Thanks Amity!" Gus said

"I was wondering when you were gonna invite us." Willow said and chuckled.

"Oh! It's tomorrow night at 6." I said, I almost forgot to tell them when it was. I noticed the time, the bell was gonna scream soon.

"Well, I better get to class, see you later!"

"See ya Amity!" Luz yelled, as she walked the other direction. I was so excited for tomorrow night.
