An Awkward encounter

When morning rose, another day of school began.

Breakfast was quiet for the Kioshi family, last night had made Kira slightly upset.

Last night's events were so nerve-wracking.

The fact that she'd have to go face to face with someone she hadn't seen in a very long while, was eating her up from the inside. Izuku Midoriya was all she could think of at that very moment.

Mrs. Kioshi picked up on her daughter's quiet behavior, noting she would normally be more cheerful in the mornings.

"You all right?" she asked. "You're a little quiet this morning."

Kira looked up, a bit surprised by her mother's voice. After a minute of processing, she shook her head. "Sorry, I'm not awake yet." she lied.

Her mother looked in disbelief, knowing full well she wasn't being truthful. However she didn't say anything, instead shook her head and stood up to wash her cup as she had finished the tea she had been drinking.

Kira finished her breakfast and then proceeded to get ready for school, she also got a purple duffle bag out of her closet so she could be ready for her ballet class once the day ended.

After she had her bags and uniform on, she waited for her mother to finish getting ready for her job-she was a principal of a Private High school- the pair set off driving away in the car.

Mrs. Kioshi stopped the car in front of Kira's school, gently kissing Kira's forehead before watching the girl get out.

"Have a great day sweetie, I'll pick you up after your rehearsal."

"Ok mom, see you later."

The principal smiled sweetly at her daughter and then drove away. After she had left, Kira walked towards the entrance of Aldera Junior High.

Walking into the school grounds filled Kira with dread. She didn't care for the school because of the fact she was a bit of a walking target, for girls anyway.

They'd always pick on her for being short. She was 5'0 and it was annoying at times because for one she would be stuck with trying to jump to get textbooks. After all, the lower shelves always cleared first. And 2 she was often underestimated. Since she wanted to be a hero, this was extremely problematic as most of the girls in her class didn't think she could do it.

But slowly over time though she started to drown out all of that. It had gotten to a point where if someone tried to pick on her, she started finding snarky comebacks to get them to leave her be. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't.

Boys on the other hand just wanted to date her, she, however, wasn't all too interested in dating at that moment so she always turned them down.

Her thought process with the school always was; The sooner I leave the better.

The day started and it seemed to be going well for the most part. Nothing too bad happened and people didn't seem to be paying her much mind as they were all discussing which High school they would attend. The biggest choices that were being discussed were between Shiketsu High and of course, U.A. High.

Kira, like many of the students, was hoping to get into U.A.

Not only was it a top school in Japan, but it was also where her favorite pro hero went as a teenager. She always trained her hardest in hopes she'd pass the exams and get in. On the way to lunch, Kira was still thinking about it.

A warm, rough hand on her shoulder caught her off guard, however.

She sighed, knowing full well who was probably behind her. She spun around to face a person she knew all too well. He was taller now and his huge spicy attitude had spiked along with his height. The only thing that stayed the same, was that unmistakable blonde Pomeranian-like hair and piercing fire eyes.
