Forever and Always a Hero (An Mha Story)

First Day Tension

April.

The annoying sound of a buzz chimed from the nightstand. 

Hitting her alarm lightly on the top, Kira opened her eyes and sat up. After a quick stretch, she stands up and goes to her closet to pull out her uniform. Finally remembering what day it is, energy kicks Kira awake. 

"It's today!" She exclaimed loudly, hints of full excitement now present in her voice. 

Ms. Kioshi's voice sounds from downstairs. 

"Yes, yes, it is." She chuckles slightly.

Kira hurries to the bathroom and starts freshening up, brushing her teeth and her bed head. Once she was satisfied with her appearance, she hurried back to her room and changed into her brand new uniform of grey and greenish accents. She hurriedly dressed her feet in long black socks that accompanied the uniform.

She then hopped down the stairs and sat at the table, beginning to eat her breakfast quickly. 

"Slow down, speedy." Ms. Kioshi said laughing. "You don't want hiccups on your first day now do you?"

Kira looked at her mom, listening to her and beginning to slow her pace.

Ms. Kioshi smiled. "I'm so glad you are excited for your first day." She looks away. "Reminds me of your first day of elementary."

Kira blushed. "Mom...that was so long ago." 

Ms. Kioshi's smile became a smirk. "What? Am I not allowed to reminisce on your childhood?"

Kira looked down. "No..." 

Her mom walked over to her and gently kissed her daughter's forehead. 

Kira sighed and smiled, continuing to eat her breakfast.

After eating and cleaning up, Kira headed to the entryway and grabbed her brown shoes, the last piece of the uniform. Once they were on her feet, Kira waited for her mother to finish addressing herself before finally heading out the door.

The two parted ways with Ms. Kioshi walking to the car to go to work and Kira starting her walk to U.A.

"Have a great day, sweetheart!" Ms. Kioshi called.

Kira waved back. "You too!"

The walk to the school was refreshing. The cool spring breeze flowing in the morning of a new chapter of Kira's school life.

She was so glad to have gotten in, happy that she could now show the world what she was capable of.

When she saw the gates in front of her, she couldn't help but beam with pride. It felt good to say in her head she got into the best hero school in all of Japan. 

After going inside the doors, Kira was greeted by the conversation of all the students that got in as well. 

She stopped for a moment. Now...which room am I in again?  She thought before remembering  she was to be in Class 1-A. It took awhile for her to find the room, but she found it after spotting the large A on the door.

She walked into the classroom, finding only a few other people were in the room.

Of the faces in that class, only one was recognizable. 

It's that girl from the exams  Kira thought. What was her name again, Mina right? And does she remember me?

Before Kira could think further, the girl made eye contact with her and smiled. "Hey! I know you!" she called. 

Kira waved..."H-hey." she said walking over to her.

"Been a while Kira, how've you been?" Mina asked once Kira reached her.

"I've been alright, excited I got in."

"Me too!"

After a short chat Mina went off to talk to someone else, and Kira headed to the front. 

"This is school property you creaton!!" Shouted a voice. Kira looked in the direction of the shout. She sighed remembering the full feeling of knowing the one who was in trouble would probably get in.

Bakugou, not to Kira's surprise, was leaning back in a chair, getting lectured by the navy blue haired boy from the exams. His uniform was not as neat as everyone else's and he was just as brash as ever. Making a snarky comeback to the boy's comment.

Kira sighed. "Come on, Boomhead. It's the first day and your already making enemies?"

Both the boys turned their attention to her.

Bakugou snorted. "I already told you, Killer eyes, you all don't stand a chance against me."

The other boy made a face. "That is very disrespectful to say!"

"Shut up, Four eyes? It's true!"

"Four eyes!?!"

Kira sighed and decided to leave the conversation. Not noticing her other friend at first until he said her name. 

"Kira??"
