One Month Later...
A month has passed, Kazuto is still avoiding Asuna. They never looked or bothered each other, until the principal made and announcement that the school will have a camping trip.
*At the school hallway*
"I heard we're gonna have school camping." Sinon says, closing the locker.
"Yeah, I've heard." Asuna says, putting her stuffs on the locker "Are you gonna come?"
"Of course, I am." Sinon replied, giving her friend a faint smile "How about you, Asuna?"
"I am coming too, since I'm on a student council." Asuna said, taking a deep sigh.
"Asuna, are you alright?" the blonde girl asks, worriedly and she closes the locker.
"Y-yeah, I'm just thinking about-" Asuna was cut off when she saw Kazuto walking at the hallway.
"Thinking about who?" Sinon asks, and she saw Asuna staring at Kazuto on the school hallway. "Kazuto, isn't it?"
"Shh," the orange-brownish girl says, closing the school locker "Don't..."
"You guys never stared or even bothered each other, Asuna," Alice says, rubbing her best friend's back gently "Did something happened?"
"According to his last message to me last month he wanted space and time." Asuna replies, voice being raspy. "That's why I did the right thing,"
"I see." Alice says, and suddenly Eugeo approached them "Kurayama, what's up?"
"Yuuki, can I have word with you?" Eugeo asks, in a serious tone.
"S-sure..." Asuna said, coldly. And they both went to the gymnasium.
*At the gymnasium*
"What is it?" Asuna asks, avoiding Eugeo's eyes. "Look if you're gonna-"
"I'm sorry if I was acting cold on you that time." Eugeo says, looking down "I didn't mean to do that,"
"Hey, it's alright." Asuna says, reassuring Eugeo "I understand that Kazuto- I mean Kirigaya means to you as his best friend,"
"I see, but Asuna-san. He's been down for almost a month," the blonde boy says, worriedly. "He told me that he was defending you from Klein."
"Yeah, he told me," Asuna says, and she felt more worried about Kazuto's situation. "But he told me that I should give him space and time."
"Asuna-san... Do you like my best friend?" Eugeo asks, Asuna's heart pounds so fast because of Eugeo's question.
"I don't know Eugeo-kun." Asuna said, looking down "I just don't really know-"
"It's fine if you can't answer yet," Eugeo says, and he give Asuna a head pat. "Don't worry about that."
"Okay, thanks," she says, Eugeo gave her a sweet smile and he starts to walk away from her "Eugeo-kun..."
"Yeah?" Eugeo asks, turning his face to her "What is it, Asuna-san?"
"Please, keep him safe no matter what," Asuna says, and Eugeo gave her a weak smile.
"I will." Eugeo nodded and left the gymnasium.
*At Cafeteria*
Asuna went straight to the cafeteria after her period in History. And she saw Sinon and Alice waiting for her at the table.
"Hey, where have you been?" the blonde girl asks, worriedly and Asuna sat next to her.
"Yeah, you've missed the first period." Sinon says, drinking her soda.
