01📸 DILEMMA

"Seriously guys! And I expected you will help me. But obviously y'all don't believe in me."
Taehyun was outraged at his bandmates.
"We want to help you, but what will make the fans believe that you and Lia are just friends?"
Huening kai tried to comfort him, patting his shoulder.
",Yeah Huening kai is right. But our previous plan backfired, as ignoring Lia at the awards ceremony angered the fans more. At this point I don't even what they want. You speak with each other they get mad. You ignore each other they get more mad."
Yeonjun, the eldest spoke.

Taehyun was a member of the popular kpop band
Tomorrow x Together. He had everything, good vocals, dance skills and ethereal visuals. He was loved by the fans and media. But recently everything went downhill as a sneaky paparazzi caught him and Lia of ITZY on an "outing".

Lia and Taehyun were close friends. So when they accidentally met each other that day they stopped to have small talk and soon parted ways. But the Dispatch is a nasty, nosy rat who lives to make idols' lives a living hell. No one is spared and both the idols were now facing the wrath of the fans.

So at the next award show, Taehyun acting on Beomgyu's idea, ignored Lia who was trying to wave at him. This didn't work as Taehyun was now deemed rude.

Sitting at a restaurant, the group tried to think of a solution to this problem. But since nothing was working, the group just continued  to gobble down the food.

After some time, Soobin finally broke the silence,
"I don't know if this would work or not, but why don't you date someone?"
Taehyun scoffed.
"Easier said than done. Who would I date??What if it makes the situation worse?? I'm doing it for myself and our group's reputation, not because I am feeling romantic or something. "
Soobin contemplated the situation. Suddenly his face lit up as if he discovered gravity and was about to yell "Eureka!!". But instead he said,
"Hey y'know my bestie Y/n, the famous fashion blogger.. "
"Yeah, what about her?"
Yeonjun asked mildly interested.
"Date her....."
Taehyun's eyes widened like saucers. Soobin finally lost it. He shook his head. No, no, no bad idea really.

"I mean, you can obviously win her heart if you try."
Yeonjun added. Beomgyu nodded.
"Yeah, he's right. If you treat her well, the fans will love you."
"Yeah, call you boyfriend material. "
Taehyun sighed in frustration.
"What if she falls for me?"

Soobin sighed.
"Tell her the truth. Make her understand. Have a logical break up."

"I'm so sorry Y/n. You know I love you."
The woman was trembling like a leaf under Y/n's death stare.
This was the fifth time..........
"I'm so sorry, but you know he will destroy me and my brand."
Hearing that Y/n softened a bit.
"I know it's all my father's fault but I can't help but feel angry. All the opportunities I get to finally do what I want, he destroys them like a house of cards. I deserve to follow my dreams, don't I?"
The woman understood Y/n. She was mentoring her. She knew Y/n had raw talent and willingness to work hard. But the chances were snatched from her.

Y/n left the place and went to her father's house, more like mansion. She stomped her way into the living room to see her father smirking. Her mother was sitting on the other armchair, drinking tea. The regal feeling in the house oppressed Y/n.
"Ladies don't stomp like elephants. You should mentor yourself before the wedding. Walking like that would make your fianće shrink away from you."
Her father was still smirking, feeling victorious and satisfied. Oh how she wanted to wipe away that damned smirk from his face. Being her father doesn't give him a right to toy with her life. Oh no, Y/n would make sure she would never let him. She would drag him to depths of hell if he forced her to play princess.

"I would never marry for your benefit. You want to destroy me and my career... Go ahead. But you can't make me marry some rich brat. So what? You'll destroy me, burn me down to the ground. I'll rise from the ashes like a phoenix and drag you down to hell with me."

Before any of her parents could react, she headed out. Returning to her small apartment, Y/n felt the floodgates open. Warm tears trickled down her face. But the fire didn't die down. She had promised hell and she would pay hell.
