"Where are you going?!" Kai asked Hali. They were standing beside their Mum and their soon to be Dad, on their special day- their wedding day. Hali scowled. "I need to be somewhere."
"On Mum and James' wedding!?!" Kai whispered urgently. "No be quiet and listen, this is important to Mum."
As soon as the ceremony was over, Hali was out of Kai's sight. She went all over the sandy shores to find him. He was nowhere to be seen. It was 41 degrees in Hawaii, Kai was exhausted. Mum, Hali and Kai had moved there from England last year to start fresh. Mum met James and everything changed, she was much happier than before. It made Kai and Hali happy too.
Then Hali started disappearing for a few hours once in awhile. When he came home he was as cheery as anything but he never told Mum and Kai where he went. Then it started to become more repetitive. He went away everyday, never told them where he went at all.
