Mollie lounged on her bed, glancing at her phone screen. She'd texted Seb half an hour earlier to say she'd arrived but yet to receive a reply.
She'd had time to calm down after their disagreement, and she wanted to set the record straight. She loved him, she wasn't interested in Scott, or anyone else.
They would just have to communicate with each other better, to make sure they still got some quality time together. But first he had to actually answer her!
She closed her eyes, tiredness hitting her. She hadn't had a good night's sleep for a while. Sometimes because of the dreams, sometimes because of her own mind working overtime.
Her phone buzzed next to her. She opened her eyes and picked it up.
Seb: Sorry, I have other plans. Try asking Scott. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to accommodate you
Was he really being that pathetic? Seeing red, she tapped out a message and sent it.
Mollie: You know what? Maybe I will! You don't seem to give a shit any more. If this is how it's going to be, then I'm done! I love you Seb, no one else, but I can't carry on like this. We knew it wasn't going to be easy, but it's as if you've given up at the first hurdle. Sort your shit out. I won't be hanging around waiting forever.
She choked back a sob and turned her phone off. She didn't want to see his reply, if there even was one. She just wanted to pretend that everything was ok. That they had each other and no one was going to come between them. The sob escaped.
Was this it? Were they over?

Seb stopped running and bent over, his hands on his knees. Antti came to a stop besides him.
"What the hell is wrong with you today?" he asked.
"What makes you think something is wrong?" Seb replied.
"You're running like you've got a rocket up your arse and you have a face like thunder. Care to share?"
"No." Antti rolled his eyes.
Seb set off running again.
"Boss, come on. You'll do yourself an injury. Just cool it."
Seb stopped. "Women. Antti, why do they have to be such complex creatures?"
"If I knew that I'd be a rich man," Antti laughed.
Seb gave a small wry laugh. "Look, I'm here if you want to sound off, ask for advice, whatever. Just don't end up overdoing things."
Seb sat on a nearby bench. He took his phone out of his pocket.
He opened the text he'd received. The colour drained from his face as he read what Mollie had said. He jumped up.
Antti sighed. "What did I say Seb?"
"Sorry Antti, I have to go," Seb apologised.
He ran off back in the direction they had just come from. Antti sighed. He didn't have a clue what was going on, but he hoped that Seb sorted it out soon. He need to keep his head where it was needed, not worrying about women.

Seb dashed through the hotel lobby and into the elevator. He had to see Mollie. He had to apologise for his behaviour. He knew he'd been immature but it really bugged him that Scott got to spend more time with her than he did.
