Mollie dug her toes into the sand. She sat looking out across the ocean. There was a slight breeze and her hair kept blowing across her face.

It was nearly sunset and the end of another perfect day in paradise.  She knew that the day after tomorrow they would have to head back to reality.  Back to training.  The last five days had been heaven.

There had been no racing, no letters, no dickhead teammates.  Just her and Seb.

He'd surprised her the day after Will's party by whisking her away for a break. They were staying on their own private island off of the coast of Greece.

They'd spent their days swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, and their nights making love.  They'd been totally cut off from the outside world.  The kitchen had been fully stocked for them so there was no need to leave the island.

It has done Mollie the world of good. Mentally, she felt more prepared now to face the second half of the season.  She'd decided that as soon as she saw Matthew again she was going to tell him about Scott and his behaviour towards her.  It really wasn't on.  Twice now he'd forced kisses on her.  Kisses that she didn't want.

As for the letter writer, she hoped that she'd heard the last from them.  The last three races she'd heard nothing from them at all.

She was going to enjoy life, both at work and away from it.

She turned as she heard Seb approach.  He sank down next to her, wearing nothing but a pair of black swim shorts. His skin was tanned and his hair flipped over his forehead, brushing the top of his sunglasses.  He handed Mollie a tall glass of iced lemonade.

"Thanks darling," she said, kissing him on the cheek.

He pushed his sunglasses on top of his head. He didn't need them anymore. The sun was starting to sink.

He started nuzzling Mollie's neck affectionately.

"Is it wrong to want to stay here forever? Just me and you?" he murmured.

"Not wrong.  Just impractical."

"Oh stop being so realistic.  Let me dream."

His hand moved to cup her breast. She let him have his fun for a minute before jumping up.  She untied her sarong and jogged down to the sea.

"Come on!" she called to Seb as she waded into the still warm water.

Seb watched as she moved deeper into the water. She looked a like a Greek goddess in her white bikini. He stood and slowly made his way down to the water's edge.

"What are you waiting for?" she called out, playfully. He grinned to himself and waded in after her. As he reached her he grabbed her around the waist. She laughed and splashed him.

"Two can play that game sweetheart," he said, swiping a load of water at her. They frolicked in the water for half an hour before heading back to the beach. Picking up their stuff, they headed back to the villa.

"Are you hungry?" Seb asked.

"Famished, but I need to shower first."

"You go and shower. I'll rustle something up for us."

"You sure? I don't mind just a sandwich."

"You need more than that. We have some leftover chicken, I can do a quick curry with it and boil some rice."

"That sounds delicious."

"Well go on then. Go and shower! Put something nice and sexy on," he said winking at her.

She didn't have to be told again. She went down the hallway, through their bedroom and into the luxurious bathroom. Stripping her bikini off she stepped into the shower, turning the water on. She sighed as the cold water hit her.

She washed her hair and after enjoying the cold spray for several minutes, she turned the shower off and grabbed a towel.

She wrapped it around her and walked through to the bedroom.

She spent a few minutes choosing what to wear, before deciding on a pale yellow, short summer dress. She went braless, knowing that Seb would appreciate one less piece of clothing to remove later.

She slipped on a tiny white lace thong. Then she towelled her hair dry and braided it.

Finally she squirted some of Seb's favourite perfume on.

She padded bare footed back to the kitchen.    She was surprised by what she found there.

On the wooden table were several tea lights arranged in a heart shape. The lights were dimmed and the little flames cast a romantic glow.

Seb was stood by the table waiting. She noticed he'd changed into a pair of khaki shorts and a white T-shirt. He smiled and pulled her chair out for her.

He poured her a glass of sparkling apple juice and himself a sparkling water.

He crossed to the worktop and carried two plates of curry and rice over.

"Thank you, this looks delicious!"

"I tried. Not the healthiest option. Just a jar of sauce rather than made from scratch but I know how hungry you are and didn't want to make you wait."

He sat down opposite her. He raised his glass.

"To us and may we both have plenty more points this season!"

She lifted glass. "To us."

They began eating and soon both of their plates were clean.

They then went to sit out on rhe swing on the terrace. It was an extremely warm night. Seb draped his arm around Mollie's shoulders.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" he asked.

"Once or twice," she giggled.

"Seriously Mollie. I thank my lucky stars that fate brought you back into my life. Not just once, but twice. I fell for all those years ago but it wasn't meant to be then. I think we both needed to grow, to make our own way. When I saw you again I knew my feelings had never gone away. They'd just been buried. Then when you let me make love to you I feel like the luckiest man in the world. Then I lost you again."

"Seb, I love you so much it scares me. I nearly broke after Elena's death. I really think if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be where I am now."

"Mollie, I just....I guess what I'm trying to say is we are meant to be. Things kept pulling us apart, but we always end up back together."

She turned her head and kissed his cheek. "You're the only man I have ever, and will ever, love," she said.

"Close your eyes," he said. She shut her eyes. She heard him stand up.

"You can open them now."

She opened her eyes and gasped as she saw Seb on one knee before her.

"Mollie Elise Rashford, I will love you til the day I die." He pulled a small box from behind his back. He opened it, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "Mollie, will you marry me?"
