She had been training all day. The air was warm, summer had came and chased away off the spring time breeze. Sweat had long ago formed across her brow. Focusing all of her chakra at her feet, she held her position until it hurt. The charka bubbling and burning at the balls of her feet. The female lowered herself into a crouching position, slithering her hands into her tan weapon bags that rested on both sides of her hips, she pulled out six kunai knives.

The loose dirt around her feet began to quiver and rise, being forced up by the chakra. Finally reaching her threshold she sprung up into the air, the sudden rush of cool air caused goose pimples to cover her limbs. This leap was the highest she had ever done, feeling her body start to travel back to the Earth below she automatically shifted so she would be falling head first, she closed her eyes. Her mind was calm. 42 yards away, in the middle of the broken log. With the flick of the wrist a kunai was sent flying. Seconds passed, two targets 23 yards away. One is behind the fallen tree the other was right above it on an over head branch. Two more kunai were launched. She waited for the sound of them to hit. Only three move. Everything seemed to slow down, the wind howled as another kunai was sent flying towards a target. Only two more targets... Almost out of time, quickly the female tossed the last of the kunai, before strategicly landing on her feet. New leaves began to fall the summer heat making their lives short. With a sigh, she gathered all of her kunai with a defeated look. The last two were still off the mark.

Kakashi had spent the last two hours watching the female, he told himself he was there to support his student; however as time passed Kakashi was captivated by her movements. She was never this gracefully or determined when his whole team was together.

Even when his team were all genin he never thought she would be set on becoming an Anbu. He could remember the day she had made the vow to protect the village as one of the strongest shinobi of the Leaf. Ever since then she never stopped training.

It was right after Sasuke had left the village. Naruto had refused to take her them to retrieve him. It crushed her; however Kakashi had to admit she was very weak back then. Now even she could give him a run for his money if she fine tuned a few more things.

He watched as the beautiful young female twirled in the air flinging dangerous weapons around. Once again she was repeating the same exercise over and over again, until she got it right. Something about the whole show she was unknowingly putting on for him made his heart skip a beat.

She had failed once again. She let herself collapse onto the cold Earth below her. The female could not stop panting, her chakra reserves where very low. Nothing was going to stop her from becoming a great ninja. Attempting to bring herself to her feet, the shaking would not stop. She silently cursed herself.

" Look how much you'be grown." Kakashi told her, as he jumped down from his hiding spot in the trees. The female couldn't help but smile at her sensei. 'Even he has to admit I'm getting stronger.' The female thought to herself as her eyes focused on her sensai, the edges of her vision blurring ever so slightly.

Kakashi let out a sigh, when he picked up his student. She was so light, if Kakashi had wanted to he could have broken every bone in her body in that very moment  if he had wanted to. He gingerly carried her out of the forest and towards the village.

By the time Kakashi had reached the village gates, the girl had already fallen asleep. She was a bit more troublesome than he had originally believed, with a sigh he headed to the girl's single bedroom apartment. It was the same apartment complex as the one Naruto lived in.

Reaching the front door Kakashi shook his head once realizing the door was locked. 'What have I gotten myself into' he thought to himself. Placing the girl down besides the door, with no effort at all sprung onto the railing of the balcony, gripping the edge of the roof he hoisted himself up onto it. Creeping and looking from window to window, until he spotted their genin team picture on a night stand next to a bed. Carefully slipping through the window, he landed in the ground with little to no sound.

"Whose there! I'm a skilled ninj-oh hi, Kakashi-Sensei." Naruto yelled bursting through the bedroom door, fingers already set in jutsu position. Kakashi didn't know what to say, so he just stood there. "Kakashi sensei?" Naruto questioned his sensei once again squinting his eyes at him. "Kakashi-Sensei, did Pervy Sage's books mess with your brain or something?"

Kakashi let out of a sigh and told Naruto about his teammate being locked out of her apartment. Naruto nodded taking it all. "Oi, why didn't she come ask me for the spare? This happens a lot. " Naruto states nodding his head a few times. Kakashi held his hand out, grumbling the whole time Naruto rummaged around his living room, looking for the key which he too had seemed to have lost at the time.

Upon finally recieving the key Kakashi finally went back to his beautiful young student asleep outside. Hoisting her up, he was about to finish this little mission of his. Carefully placing the girl onto the bed he couldn't help but stare at her flawless face. She would never know his feelings, he would not allow it; however Kakashi would allow himself one small thing. Before Kakashi left the sleeping girl, he leaned in removing his lower face mask and pressed his lips lightly to hers.
