Michael's POV

We actually spent the whole week looking for said prophecy. Ash and I got to know each other better and he was a cool dude. He was three years older than me, but we still enjoyed each other's presence. He kept giggling about almost everything, though. I couldn't lie though, it was very cute. Also, he told me that he played the drums and I told him I played the guitar. We liked the same kind of music which was great because no one ever liked the music I listened to.

I was searching through a trunk that was under a table and I found a letter with a delicate hand writing on it.

"April 15th, 1915.

Dear Amanda,

I know this can be a little astonishing but, there's something I need to tell you. Like in person. Some things aren't working here, and it's only the middle of autumn. I'm worried. Please answer me as soon as you get this letter.

Yours as always,

Natalie Clifford."

"Ash!" I yelled from under a table. "I think I found something!"

I saw his sandy curly hair appear in front of me. "You did?"

I nodded. "It's only a letter. But, it may help." I handed him the time-worn paper.

He scanned it for some minutes and clicked his tongue. "Yup. This may help. Do you know who is Natalie Clifford, though?" he turned his gaze at me.

I nodded one more time. "My mum told me she was my father's great grandmother or something like that" I shrugged "I also know, that she went through the same stuff I am going through".

"So like she also had her first transformation at 19?"

"Yes, something like that". I frowned "I don't know much about her, my mum didn't went deep in that topic."

He stayed in silence and then said "Do you think that the things that weren't right were the fact that she transformed at a young age?" I shrugged.

"Maybe, I dunno." I stared at the letter, as if it was going to give me some answers. "But maybe it was. I mean, this was a hundred years ago, right? For what else she wolud've sent a letter to this Amanda girl?"

He sighed. "Who knows. Is there the response of this letter over there?"

I started looking within the rest of the papers, but there weren't any signs of another letter or anything whatsoever. I stopped when I spotted an old, black and white picture of two girls. One looked a lot like my father and the other one had this really delicate factions with big eyes.

"Look at this, Ash." I showed him the picture and his eyes lit up with recognition.

"That's Amanda Hemmings!" he said with enthusiasm "Now everything makes sense! Of course! I'm such an idiot!" I frowned at him.

"What are you talking about?" I tilted my head.

He suddenly stopped his rambling. "Isn't it obvious?" I shook my head "Oh. Well, the Hemmings are the second oldest family that has the werewolf genes. Yours is first as you may know by now". I nodded "They have three kids; Ben, Jack and Luke. Ben and Jack have already had their first transformations, seeing that they're the oldest and Luke is only 18 now."

"And that helps us because...?" I asked him

"Because," he glared at me "they may know why your great grandmother was sending suspicious letters to theirs".

***

Ash dragged me to the Hemmings' front door. He knocked several times and seconds later a blonde woman with a pink apron opened the door.
