Beidou's pov:
I was at school early this morning again so I decided to sit at the tables outside until school started. *Bzzt bzzt*

Keqing: hey did you guys get any classes together?

Yeah xiangling and I have alchemy :beidou
together and ganyu and I have gym together

Ganyu<3: yeah isn't your crush also in alchemy with you?

Time skip~ in alchemy

Beidou's pov: ok it's bad enough that the person I'm trying not to think about sits infront of me but xiangling subtly making hearts with her hands and looking at me is getting kind of creepy...
Mr. Albedo starts speaking "Ok class I'd like your attention up here please, today we will be staring a group project about elemental reactions. I will be putting you into pairs and you will be completing the project with your partner, now listen closely while I read out the partners
Sucrose and bennett
Xingqiu and chongyun
Xiangling and fischl
Yanfei and venti
And lastly ningguang and beidou"
You've got too be joking. Xiangling looks down trying her best to stifle her laughs as ningguang turns to me smiles and says "I guess we're partners". Her smile alone gives me butterflies in my stomach, "y yeah" I replied.
Mr. Albedo says something about the work but I couldn't hear anything he said when ningguang was looking at me.

Ningguang's pov:
Today we got assigned a partner project in alchemy and I was paired with the girl behind me, I think her name was beidou? She was pretty cute but I think she was shy because she hardly said anything when we worked on the project.
"Hey can I have your number so we can work on this after school?" I asked

"Oh uh yeah of course", beidou answered, "it's --- --- ----"

"Thanks, are you free after school?"

"Yeah I am"

"Ok cool do you think we could work on our project around 6?"

"Yeah that works for me, oh I know a cafe that just opened some time ago, wanna go there?"

"Sure!"

Hmm I'd have to get someone to look after qiqi, she can't stay alone at home when my mother's working late...

"Is something wrong?"

"Oh no, it's just that I have a little sister that can't stay home alone so I'm trying to figure out a way that I can still meet up with you and have somewhere for her to go"

"Oh she can come with us if you want, I don't mind"

"Ah thank you so much, I really didn't know what I was going to do"

*Sigh* Well at least I didn't have to worry about too many things today.
